Jack’s not surprised that Kyle hasn’t told Claire that Victor’s running Glacade. Jack knows how Victor works – that the best way to hurt him is through Kyle. He’s right – it has hurt me.
Joining Devon, Nate asks why Lily left looking so ‘pissed’. She’s starting to believe that I’m right about Victor’s plan, Devon thinks.
Lily’s in Victor’s office to say that she has some serious problems with their partnership – she’d like them resolved today.
Jack tells Claire that her grandfather’s a fighter, but there’s no such thing as a fair fight with Victor – nothing is sacred – it’s never just business; it’s always person – he’s hated me for decades. Victor’s using Kyle’s to break Jack’s heart – he’s twisting the knife. This doesn’t sound like the Victor Claire knows. Everything Jack said is true – Victor’s leading Kyle down a dark path he may never come back from.
Why would Heather lie about having a fight with me? Daniel wonders. None of this tracks. Chance asks if it’s possible that Heather was seeing someone else.
Daniel refuses to believe that Heather was having an affair. It’s ridiculous. Someone accessed her phone – who. You’re the brilliant detective! You tell me! Chance can’t put these puzzle pieces together.
Lily feels like Victor’s stringing her along – it kinda feels like you’re going to make Nikki Chancellor’s CEO? Victor’s a man of his word – I’ll take care of you. That answer isn’t good enough for Lily (who walks out)
Devon shares his theory with Nate – Victor’s using his relationship with Neil; telling Lily that he’d be glad they’re working together. Victor’s going to crush her, Devon predicts.
Lily’s not at the GCAC with Nikki. She wants answers – you’re the only person who can tell me.
Lily values her friendship with Nikki – you went out of your way to give me the letter from Katherine. She now feels like they’re using her to take over Chancellor; then will push her out. Is Victor going to make you CEO???? Be honest with me – come clean, Lily implores.
Nate recalls Victor being on a fact-finding mission about Lily. They’re glad to have broke away from Chancellor but worry about Lily. If Victor’s using her that’ll be a BIG problem between Devon and his future father in law.
Heather loved me, Daniel tears up. She wanted to leave because of outside pressures. Chance is only going through every scenario.
Jack knows this isn’t easy to hear; that Claire loves her grandfather. He just wants Victor to come after him directly and leave Kyle alone. How can I help? Jack isn’t asking for help. Claire WANTS to help.
No! Daniel will NOT let Chance go through Heather’s things. You know your way out, he leaves the room.
Nate tells Devon about his trip. He tracked down Amy Lewis – he knew her from the old days when Paul and Nathan were PI’s. She had some momentos in an old storage box. No, it wasn’t worth the trip – Nate doesn’t know what to make of it. He got a vibe that Amy was trying to get a sense of who Nate is – but he has no idea why.
Lily knows she’s not wrong. Yes, Nikki admits that the plan all along was for her to be CEO. She went along with it because the idea of taking over Katherine’s company clouded her judgement. Lily laughs at the idea that she’d stay on and be at Nikki’s side. Are you kidding? You made me feel like we were on the same team – that I was safe. Nikki feels terrible about it but we can do great things together. Lily gets up – I’m done with both of you!
