There’s no higher power guiding you, Mariah’s full of scorn for the evil Ian. There’s no need to thank me, he tells Tessa. Mariah wants to vomit listening to him; Tessa’s known monsters too. You can’t con her (though he seems to be doing just that) Ian hopes one day that Mariah will find forgiveness.
Summer repeats that Sharon’s missing. She’s done this before, Phyllis isn’t worried. Billy finds the timing suspicious; Sharon goes missing as soon as Phyllis lets go of all her rage – do you know what happened to her??
Victor and Nikki are now with Nick at Sharon’s – his guys haven’t found any leads on her whereabouts. Nick’s worried about Faith and wonders what this bastard wants.
Still in the park, Ian admires Mariah – it can’t be easy, the life you’ve made for yourselves (implying that the church frowns upon gay couples) Mariah tells Tessa to take Aria home – she’ll be there after she’s ‘done with him’.
Billy continues to doubt Phyllis. She wants an apology. My bad, he responds with a sorry-not sorry. I’ll leave you to it. Joining Sally at another table, he takes her hand across the table when invited to go to Paris on a business trip.
Look at that, Phyllis complains about Billy holding ‘her’ hand. Why do people assume the worst about me? Oh no, not you too, she’s hurt by Summer’s silence and dour expression.
Phyllis hates that Summer does the ‘head tilt’ (like her father) when ‘finally’ saying she doesn’t think she’s responsible for Sharon’s disappearance. I don’t care where she is. I’ve let it go, she persists. If something happened to her, it’s karma, not me.
Billy has to ask if Sally’s taking him to Paris to distract him from going after Victor and Chancellor. No – she does hope he’ll drop it but it’s not her call.
Sure there’s a connection between Ian’s reappearance and Sharon’s disappearance, Victor’s not concerned with the letter sent to the police blaming him if anything happens to Ian. Getting a call from Chance, Nick updates his parents that Sharon’s car was found in the river.
Declaring Sally ‘basic’ and ‘mediocre’, Phyllis is indignant when Summer points out that she’s actually quite talented. People who don’t remember the past are doomed by it (Phyllis is referring to both Sally and Sharon) Summer continues – Dad’s worried and my sister is …. Half sister, Phyllis corrects … Faith is terrified, Summer finishes. Phyllis wants her kids to take her lead – forget Sharon; we’ve got to move on.
Sharon’s car was dumped in the river where Heather’s body was. There’s no sign of Sharon, Nick adds – they’re still searching.
Exchanging a few words about the upcoming business trip to Paris, Sally and Summer leave Phyllis to rejoin Billy. So, let me get this straight, my revenge is bad but yours is productive and healthy. Yes, Billy agrees – and what’s your condition on helping me? Phyllis wants Daniel to be a key player at Chancellor – do we have a deal?
One minute. OK, one minute, Tessa leaves a FURIOUS Mariah to snarl at Ian – don’t talk to my wife or look at my daughter! I will NEVER forgive you – stay away from my family or I swear to God I’ll kill you!! Ian’s left to smirk ever so slightly.
