Seated for breakfast, Diane praises Jack for taking the high road. She suspects Phyllis may have been the one to blab about Abbott Communications.

Let it go, Nikki implores. If you’re sure Billy’s not competition why waste time thinking about it? Victor promises that Adam will beat Billy Boy Abbott.

Billy noticed that Chelsea and Adam were holding hands when he arrived. He worries she’ll get hurt. As for Sally, we’re good together and having fun. Chelsea appreciates that Billy’s protective of her but can take care of herself. Adam comes back to shoo Billy out – go, unless there’s another area of my life you want to stick your nose into.

Telling Adam that HE’s the one with the axe to grind, Billy says bye to Chelsea – let me know when you want to get the kids together. Can you believe that guy? Adam whines that Billy started it. He’s sure Abbott Communications will fail. Then why do you seem so threatened by it? Chelsea wonders.

Over breakfast, Jack and Diane again discuss the renovation. Knowing that Victor hit a nerve by bringing up John’s name, she promises that the changes will be good for the family.

When Victor continues to rant about Billy, Nikki worries that with Phyllis involved, it’ll be ‘double trouble’.

Sally’s at the revolving door when Billy calls. He has something to run by her. Abbott Communications’ launch has been leaked. Adam just confronted me. Billy needs to put out a press release before Newman Media runs its story. Next, he leaves Phyllis another message – we have a problem that requires your take-no-prisoners approach. We’ll all wondering where you are. Call the people you love, then call me to say you’re OK.

Jack drops by Billy’s to update him that Victor knows all about the new company. Yeah, Billy ran into Adam. No, he has no idea how the info got out. Phyllis told Nick, but he likely didn’t say anything. No, he doesn’t think Kyle said anything to Claire. Billy wanted the launch to catch Newman Media off-guard. Jack’s suddenly suspicious – I thought this wasn’t about the Newmans.

Nikki asks Victor to take a step back. He won’t back down from a fight. You’re still recovering – let Adam take care of Billy.

Why would I be threatened by Billy? Adam’s annoyed. You’re kinda acting like you are, Chelsea points out. Adam wishes Billy picked another profession to fail at. He’s moving on and focused on other things while your focus is on him. Chelsea believes the sandbox is big enough for both men and when Adam brings up Billy being with Sally, she has to wonder if he’s really over Sally. You’re defending Billy – are you over him?? Adam fires back.

Adam and Chelsea realize they can’t keep accusing one another of not moving on. Pulling her hands away, Chelsea reminds that this isn’t a done deal. We could really have a chance here, we just need to keep our eye on the ball. Are we still talking about baseball? Adam jokes.

Still at Billy’s, Jack also hopes that Phyllis is OK – his concerns are strictly business related. You have a timing issue – maybe the initial press release shouldn’t include her. When Sally appears offering to ‘pick up the slack’, Jack declares her a good influence on his brother and leaves them to work on the press release. Sally likes Billy’s ‘rough draft’ – let’s send it out as is. You’re brilliant, innovative and sexy as hell, she gives him a kiss.

Nikki cautions Victor that if he hurts Jack and/or Kyle, he’ll hurt Claire. You and Jack had a truce once. Can you put a stop to things before it goes too far?
