Diane doesn’t blame the family for not trusting her. Jack doesn’t regret their charade getting Kyle away from Victor – but he is sorry it gave his siblings another reason not to trust Diane. They don’t hate you. Yes they do (though Traci tries because she’s a good person and she loves you – but she’ll have trust issues after this) No, Diane doesn’t want Jack to talk to Ashley and Billy. She feels bad for even bothering Jack with this – your focus should be Traci. I’ll support you as you support your family – overlook my insecurities and focus on the family you love, she tells Jack.

You’ve been spending a lot of time with Sharon, Vikki suspects there might be more going on – she just wants Nick to be happy. He is – with the way things are right now. This trip is about healing, Vikki thinks maybe Nick and Sharon are destined to be together and ‘this trip will give you the time and space to do that’.

Nick claims that he has the exact same relationship with Sharon as he does with Phyllis. Then why not run off to a tropical island with her and Summer, to help THEM heal? Vikki wonders. She burns way too easy, Nick jokes. He doesn’t plan to get back together with either of his exes. Being everyone’s hero is a tough job but someone’s got to do it, he grins. Vikki jokes that she’d rather he got back with Sharon than Phyllis.

Jack validates Diane’s feelings; he’s sorry he kept her in the dark about Martin. Diane hopes the changes she’s made to the house will be a step towards earning everyone’s trust. Jack never wants her to feel like an outsider again. Diane wants to be there for Traci – what Martin put her through is a nightmare.

Phyllis, Sharon and Traci all want to move on. Sharon sympathizes with Traci – do you have anyone to talk to? Yes, Traci reached out to an old friend – she’s having dinner with Amy Lewis tonight. Traci gave her whole self to ‘Alan’ – what is wrong with me? she tears up.

Was I so lonely and desperate for love that I gave my heart to a monster? Traci tears up. Sharon won’t let Traci go there. You didn’t deserve this, Phyllis agrees. Traci thanks them. Don’t close your heart off to love, Sharon tells her to love herself first. Phyllis does NOT blame Traci. She and Sharon are supportive and sympathetic. You’ve got this. You’ll get there. We all will – the three hold hands across the table.

Nick doesn’t want Dad going back to the office to fill in for him. Vikki will keep an eye on Daddy. Have a safe flight; give Noah a hug for me. Taking the folder Vikki given him, he says he’ll look it over. They part ways with ‘I love you’s.

When Traci arrives at the club, Diane asks how she’s doing and is sorry for everything she’s been through. Traci’s sorry for shutting her down when she knew something was wrong. She may take Diane up on her offer to talk. Traci lightens the mood by saying she just came from meeting Sharon and Phyllis for the first meeting of the Martin Laurent Survivors Club. The one good thing that came from this – those two are getting along. Traci’s made a big decision that she wants to share with both Jack and Diane.

Phyllis thanks Sharon for not letting her dump her anxiety and fear onto Traci. You did the same for me, Sharon said. It’ll be weird getting used to us caring how the other one feels – Phyllis is still trying to make sense of it. Sharon has to get going to the airport. Everyone’s going away but me, Phyllis jokes but she’ll be busy launching the company with Billy. Their awkward hug almost brings both to tears.

Traci’s given this a lot of thought and talked it through with Ashley. She’s going to New York; Ashley’s coming with her. She might lose herself writing a new book. We’ll be back before you know it and can’t wait to see what Diane’s done with the house. Traci first hugs Diane, then Jack. Both are in tears, I’ll always be here for you, Jack promises. That’s one thing Traci will never doubt.

Sharon and Nick leave her place with their suitcases.

On the phone, Phyllis assures Daniel that she’s capable of ordering a cheeseburger for Lucy without onions. I’ll be there in an hour. You and your sister need to stop fussing over me. I just need to keep busy with work. Love you – see you soon. She then sends a text to Billy – I’m safe, rested and ready to roll. LTD. As soon as she stops outside, she reads Billy’s reply. ‘What the hell is LTD’? ‘Let’s do this’, she answers.
