Phyllis pours herself a glass of champagne. Abbott Communications is the key to her getting her life back – she’s laser focused and will get Daniel back – you can’t do it without me. Thinking Phyllis needs time to heal, Billy’s found someone to help him. Phyllis is NOT pleased to hear that someone is Sally.
We haven’t even looked at Adam’s place – or any place, Claire wants to do more than ‘weigh in’. This is a big move. Kyle will forget he ever saw the listing – is that what you want?
Oh, so you’re the reason Summer has to fly all the way to Milan, Phyllis wonders why Sally wouldn’t you take the opportunity to replace Chelsea instead of her. How did you convince Billy to fire me so you could take my place? she’s pissed.
No more talk about Victor, Nate tells Audra that he saw a new side to his brother. A good side or bad? she wonders. Honestly, a bit of both.
Damian didn’t get an answer yet. Lily wants him to give Dumas her contact info. Can’t you at least give it a try?
Nate saw a new side to Damian – he built a wall around his heart after his Dad died but he hopes to knock that wall down – there’s been progress. He’s seen a vulnerable side to Damian so won’t give up now.
Back at CL’s, Damian can’t say no to Lily – no promises though. He doesn’t have a secret agenda to steal their company. Nate said your father was somewhat of a hero to this town. Have a drink with me in the lounge dedicated to the man who garnered so much love and respect, he implores.
Kyle just wants to move in with Claire but will back off if she wants him to. Claire doesn’t want to rush this – the time must be right for all of us. Kyle thinks buying Adam’s house might persuade Victor; their biggest obstacle.
Billy didn’t turn his back on Phyllis – it’s for your own good. This conversation’s pointless, excuse us. No, Phyllis isn’t done talking; she tells Sally to talk to Lily – he axed her too, You aren’t different, you’re the same. Billy will sweet talk you then pull the rug out from under you. I’ll have the last laugh, Phyllis pours herself more champagne.
That’s it, Billy’s done being patient and sympathetic. You need help, he tells Phyllis. You refused to listen. Listen to me, Phyllis warns -you’re going to be sorry you did this to me, she warns in parting.
Let’s do it – Claire wants to see Adam’s house – she’ll find a way to bring it up with him. Happy, Kyle gives her a hug.
Nate tells Audra that he and Damian were just two guys talking – he’d love to have his brother in his life.
So, that’s my Dad, Lily gestures towards the portrait of Neil. Damian admires it – you lost your father suddenly – we have that in common, they bond. To your Dad, for making you the woman you are, Damian toasts. Lily drinks.
Claire and Kyle can’t wait. You promised Summer you’d wait before telling Harrison, she reminds. We could move in together within a month Kyle says with a kiss.
Audra wants to skip dessert – she has something sweeter in mind. Leaving Society, Audra sees two missed calls from Victor on her phone.
Damian and Lily discuss taking down walls. A guy like me can always use more friends, he says.
Don’t let her get in your head, Billy tries to bring Sally back to their good mood and celebration. That’s Phyllis being Phyllis, he shrugs it off. That threat was real, Sally takes it seriously.
At CL’s, Phyllis orders a double shot of espresso – this isn’t over, not by a long-shot, she says out loud to herself.
