At the club to work out, Nick sits with Phyllis – who tells him that Summer’s found a young, hot man to replace Chelsea. Are you OK? Nick asks – you seem edgy and weird.

Claire joins her mom and grandmother at the ranch to update them that she won’t be moving in with Kyle after all.

At CL’s, the ‘cocky and overconfident’ Audra believes the thought of being in competition with her is really rattling Kyle’s cage.

Phyllis declares herself fabulous – I look fabulous and am ‘slaying’ every day. Reaching across the table to dig into her breakfast, Nick’s sorry to hear that she and Daniel won’t be working with Billy. Daniel needs a reason to get out of bed every day – and so do I, she admits.

No, Claire and Kyle didn’t fight – they’re just postponing moving in together (because grandpa’s so opposed to it – and grandma suggested they slow things down) Vikki’s annoyed that her Dad bends everyone to his will. He doesn’t deserve to be pacified.

Kyle’s not worried – he looks forward to the competition. You’re good at what you do, he adds. Your little girlfriend wouldn’t like to hear how good you think I am, Audra teases. Kyle steers it back to business – it’ll take your startup a few years to be recognized. Audra has a new super-product that everyone will want. You better watch you back – what I have planned, you won’t see coming, she promises.

Don’t be mad at grandpa, Claire implores her mom – grandmas made me realize that things ARE moving too fast. Vikki just wants Claire to make decisions based on what SHE wants.

It’s wishful thinking or a lie, Kyle doesn’t believe Audra has a new product. Audra knows what women want. My Mom and Ashley know what women want too, Kyle counters. Audra’s first product line will make her the next viral sensation. You are right about one thing – I will give you a run for your money. Get ready – you’re about to find out how good I am.

On the patio, Holden’s delighted to run into Audra – what’s going on with that guy you were talking to? The tension looked sexual. You and that guy have what you and I had.

Phyllis tells Nick that she has a plan – she’s awaiting word on a meeting with Aristotle Dumas (so she can talk him into funding her new project)

Nick knows that very few people have the privilege of meeting with Dumas – Billy letting you go might be for the best. You and Daniel can find something fun to do while Billy burns Abbott Communications to the ground. Why didn’t you come to me for money? We both made money when I funded the Grand Phoenix. Asked about his loan to Sally, Nick says that she’s paying him back; there’s no animosity. We’re friends, pals, co-parents, Phyllis doesn’t want anything (like money) to mess that up.
