Knowing they’re all protective of Winters, Amanda makes it clear that Aristotle has no interest in the company. He respects what you’ve accomplished and respected Neil (who would be proud) Did he know Neil? Amanda can’t say. He looked into your company because he learns from other people’s success. Who is he? Someone who is what he claims to be – that’s all anyone needs to know, Amanda’s vague.

Billy should have asked Sally to do a guided relaxation on his podcast. She has brains, beauty and a smoother voice than the ones in his head. They’re kissing when Nick strolls by. Did you really have to let Phyllis go? he interrupts to ask.

You thanked Nick for today and ‘all of it’, Sharon pries. He was being supportive, Phyllis explains. What did she need support and help on? Billy – we aren’t working together, Phyllis updates. Ah ha – Sharon knew they weren’t talking about Summer. She’s happy to hear that she plans to work with Daniel. Phyllis declares Sharon a ‘literal angel’ – I always knew that about you. Expressing support for whatever Phyllis and Daniel end up doing, Sharon’s sure Nick told her all about London. No, he didn’t mention it, Phyllis wipes the smile off Sharon’s face.

Victor renamed himself, Amanda doesn’t find that odd. vague. Why did your boss send you here? He thought a friendly face would reassure you. Devon and Nate don’t trust Aristotle – there’s no photos of him online. He must have something to hide. Lily demands answers. Amanda claims that Aristotle has one focus in town; it’ll make Lily happy.

Amanda explains that Aristotle is interested in Chancellor. His sense of fair play was insulted by what Victor did to Billy. He isn’t interested in Winters (who don’t believe her) Time will prove me right, she looks at the ring Devon’s fidgeting with. Dumas respects all of you. He knows Devon’s childhood and respects how you’ve combined success with ethics. He knows Nate transitioned from medicine to business – you evolved. What contrived words does he have for me? Lily quips. Dumas respects you enormously; he knows you did prison time and struggled with loss and illness – it made you a fighter. Sounds like a snow-job to Lily. Have you always been this paranoid? Amanda seems surprised. Devon appreciates the compliments but we’ll keep our eyes open.

Nick lectures Billy for giving Phyllis an opportunity then yanking it away. And you KNOW what that feels like, Nick won’t let him off the hook for giving Phyllis another reason to mourn.

Sharon will fill Phyllis in – Nick’s used to flying private but it was such a treat for me and the kids. Noah met us off the plane. We were so happy. Phyllis gets a text from Amanda (In town. Need to see you, meet at Society?) Phyllis will see her in 10. This has been great; ignoring Sharon’s ‘who is it?’ question, she bolts.

Grab your shoes, let’s go, Sally stands. Billy thinks Nick should know that Phyllis isn’t in a good head-space – I did her a favour. Do you even know who she is?! Nick shouts that Phyllis has proved herself. It’s time you show her the respect she deserves! Phyllis couldn’t be happier by what she overhears.

Filing into Nate’s place, Lily quips – so, our former counsel works for the enemy. Oh, no, not the enemy, Nate’s sarcastic – he admires us and wishes us well. Devon wonders if this is all about him – Amanda looked at my wedding ring. Amanda of all people – it’s a message. Lily’s glad they didn’t mention Damian. Devon’s not sure if they should move forward on that (Damian’s job) – the only thing that’s clear is that Aristotle knows a lot more about us than we do about him. Lily thinks it time they drag him out of the shadows.

After a loud and j hug, Amanda bluntly asks – Why the hell are you trying to contact Aristotle Dumas???

Next Week: Claire’s been thinking about Kyle’s plan to get close to Audra. The more she thinks about it, the more she doesn’t like it….. You guys can relax, Amanda reassures that Dumas is trying to protect Winters, not take it away. What’s in it for him? Abby wonders. …. Nikki coos – this is a wonderful beginning to my birthday. It’s only the beginning, Victor smiles. There’s more? Nikki asks.
