The time Audra and I spent together wasn’t memorable – Kyle also shrugs off Vibrante, a ‘start up’ isn’t competition for Jabot; sorry if that sounds ‘demeaning’. Audra doubts his sincerity but needs to give more people the benefit of the doubt. We should all play nice, Holden chimes in. As soon as Kyle leaves with his take-out, Audra snaps – what the hell are you trying to do!?

Vikki tells Cole that Claire was the first one to suggest he move in. We were all robbed of the experience of being a family. She wants me to be happy – you do that for me, Vikki hopes Cole feels the same way.

The animosity ended when Phyllis and Sharon saved each others life – we’ll never be ‘besties’ but we finally saw the good in each other, Sharon explains. Nick’s seen the good in them for a very long time. Sharon wonders if he ever thinks of being with Phyllis again.

Claire appreciates her grandmother’s support and has learned so much from her, like she’s grooming me to take over one day (that’s a bit presumptuous and premature ) Claire and Victor agree to plan Nikki’s party together.

You’re full of yourself and way out of your league and my company is none of your business, Audra snarls. Holden saw the ‘sparks’ – the heat is still there between you and Kyle. Your massive fall-out was about more than business, Holden stands to grab Audra as she heads for the door – he wants to protect her like he did in LA.

Vikki and Cole continue their sappy dialogue. If he’s sick again, she’ll nurse him through it. We belong together – we finally figured it out.

Though Nick’s adamant that he and Phyllis won’t get back together and that they share the same bond he shares with Sharon, she knows that Phyllis is in distress and that Nick’s drawn to that like a moth to a flame. Am I right?

Audra knows that she and Kyle can compete as civilized adults – there’s a big market for cosmetics. Take the hint and go back to LA. Holden’s in no rush to leave – maybe Kyle’s the one he should worry about – you have an axe to grind (and an agenda) Stay out of my business and my life! Audra marches out.

Meeting in the park, Claire tells Kyle that her talk with Victor went well. We have his blessing, Kyle jokes. We’re playing the long game, Claire pitched the party idea without Victor suspecting her ulterior motives. Kyle needs to make a grand gesture – something that will please her grandfather. You can win him over like you did me.

Sharon sees Phyllis in a new light – she seems vulnerable, almost fragile – in need of rescuing. Sharon thinks Nick might want to rescue Phyllis, and fall for her again. You’re wrong – it sounds (to Nick) like Sharon’s jealous.

Vikki share’s Claire’s plan to throw her grandmother a party. Kyle will make a grand gesture in hopes of winning Victor over, Cole supports it and looks forward to living with his two favourite people in the world. His answer is a ‘hell yes’.

It seems that Sharon and Nick agreed in London that they’re better off as friends. He knows the closer they get, the chances of them getting back together increase but we agreed that’s not what we want. Sharon claims to be fine with that but clearly doesn’t like being friend-zoned.

Claire feels that if her grandfather can accept her, he can one day accept Kyle. Us slowing things down had an impact. Kyle feels Claire’s worth the wait. As they kiss, Audra watches.

Looking weak as he stands, Cole jokes that Vikki makes him weak in the knees. What’s going on with those two? he gestures towards Nick and Sharon. Vikki thinks Nick and Sharon are looking for a way back to one another (based on the look in Sharon’s eyes)

Nick and Sharon continue their chat. He enjoys seeing her and Phyllis not fight and feels he’s a much better friend than a boyfriend or husband. Of course they can still have dinner together. He can focus on the two fork thing – Sharon can help him figure that out – what are friends for?

Audra flashes back to making a deal with the devil (Victor) The closer she gets to luring Kyle into an affair, the more money will flow into her bank account. She sends Kyle a text; Appreciate what you said about moving past our differences. She watches him smile as he reads it. No, nothing’s wrong, he tells Claire. Things are moving forward with Audra. Claire doesn’t like that he’s involved with ‘that woman’. He got the better of her with Glacade and will do it again. He wants Audra to trust him and fall into his trap. Audra then calls Victor to suggest he send the first payment – Kyle’s walking right into my trap.
