Mike reminds that he ‘bought out the entire jazz lounge’, then sweeps Lauren off her feet – literally. They dance, laugh, before getting all serious as Mike apologizes.

Jack suggests he and Diane go on the honeymoon they never took.

Mike has a story to tell Lauren; a ‘refresher course’. Remember when I first went to work for Victor? When he blackmailed you into bribing retailers!? Lauren’s triggered.

Nikki gasps when opening her new locket. How did you find a photo of me, Vikki and Claire small enough to fit? (As if one can’t easily hit a ‘scale’ button on their smartphone and print it off at home or the local Staples) But not, Victor ‘I get what I want’ Newman … The locket is engraved ‘Strength, Courage, Beauty’ (odd that he’d have Nikki’s locket engraved with his ex, Ashley’s, nickname) ‘I did it!’, he congratulates himself (like a toddler doing number 2 in his potty for the first time) when able to secure it around Nikki’s neck.

Jack and Diane are delighted by the idea of getting away from the pressures of work (ha!) to go away on a long overdue honeymoon.

Snacking on fruit and vegetables, Victor talks with his mouth full. We’ve been through a lot but are more in love than ever, they exchange I love you’s.

You wound up in a Peruvian prison! Lauren’s brought to tears. Mike now realizes that he’s been Victor’s pawn for years. Are you ready to walk away from Victor?! she’s astonished.

You’ve been right all this time, Mike must break away for good – no looking back. Lauren’s sceptical – do you really mean it? With all my heart – I was a fool (Mike’s rewarded with a hug)

Just you and me ‘kid’, Jack promises ‘evenings as late as we want to make them’ (like this 66 year old man-child otherwise has a curfew?) Brainstorming destinations, Jack wants to give Diane ‘heaven, for the rest of our lives’.

Victor and Nikki’s walk down memory lane dates back to Victor first seeing Nikki dance at the strip club (his pervy ‘Mmmmmmm’ will make your skin crawl) Nikki giggles, her hand, quite literally grazing Victor’s neck waddle.

I love you, Diane coos.

I love you, Lauren’s thrilled that Mike will finally be free of that man and his chaos – but how will Victor react? she wonders. A look of concern and/or constipation crosses Mike’s face.
