In the jazz lounge, Pietro declares the decor ‘perfect’. You’re incredible, Vikki thinks everything looks sophisticated – and there’s no elephant in sight. This party will go down as one of GC’s most legendary, ever, Pietro promises.

Lily arrives at Society to chat with Abby and Devon. Though invited to the party, she doesn’t feel like celebrating Nikki’s birthday; she doesn’t trust her or Victor so will have dinner alone. On cue, Damian arrives.

Having drinks in their dining room, the well-dressed Abbotts (except Traci) are all going to Nikki’s party (so that Victor can flaunt his devotion to his wife) Since Kyle’s supposed to impress Victor tonight, he asks his Dad not to antagonize him.

When Nikki comes down in a bronze, form-fitting, sequined dress, Victor admires her,’gorgeous’. Before heading out to the party, he presents her with ‘the most extraordinary gift yet’.

Victor gives Nikki a key to the car she’s wanted since she was a teenager and got her license. It’s a fully-restored, one owner Ferrari; Rosso Cina (China Red) 250 GTO that Victor wants her to drive it to the party. He hopes what comes next will be exciting and enthralling. Nikki hopes so – for all of us. That sounds like you know something I don’t, Victor’s suspicious.

Back in the lounge, Vikki greets the Baldwins. She was worried they might not come. Mom will be thrilled to see you.

Ashley agrees with Kyle – Victor won’t cause a scene. Claire’s come up with an idea to change her grandfather’s mind – she’s inherited his stubborn streak, Kyle jokes. A man knocks on the door and hands Jack a black envelope. Opening it, he looks astounded.

After Devon and Abby leave, Damian laments that Devon hasn’t warmed up to him yet. He’ll come around, Lily reiterates. Damian shows her a fancy black envelope that was delivered to his suite – an invitation from Aristotle Dumas.

Aristotle is hosting a private party at his summer home in the South of France – on June 13th, a Friday. Yes, Damian’s still onboard with working at Winters but hasn’t been able to reach Aristotle to tell him. The man handing out party invitations all over town gives Lily a now familiar envelope – looks like she’ll soon get her wish (to meet Dumas)

Diane, Ashley and Jack discuss the party they’ve all been invited to. Why would Dumas reach out to Billy and want to invest in him? Ashley’s surprised – pointing out that he runs companies into the ground.

Mike and Lauren are both holding black envelopes – this invitation must have something to do with Victor, they suspect this French soiree is some strategic move. Since you no longer work for Victor, Lauren assumes they’ll be sending their regrets – right?

Arriving at the jazz lounge, Kyle calls Claire – are you on your way? The place looks spectacular – Nikki will be over the moon.
