As Amy all but skips through the park, Audra and Nate can ‘barely keep up’. The treatment in Boston is really doing the trick. h’s more hopeful about the future and has made a decision.

Lily meets Damian in the club’s dining room (he’s expecting Holden soon) How can Lily help? Since Audra doesn’t seem keen on hiring his best friend, Damian hopes Lily will.

Claire and Vikki have brought Cole to the tackhouse. Both fuss over him and look helpless as he hacks away. It’s a lot worse than before, he admits weakly.

Having summoned Kyle to the ranch, Victor warns him not to take it as a good sign that he’s asked to speak to him so soon.

Thrilled to hear that Amy’s decided to move to GC, Audra gives her an impulsive hug. No, she’s not ‘welling up’, it’s allergies. Amy also tears up – she looks forward to spending time with her new friend and second son. Group hug – love you guys.

Since it was her stupid idea that got Holden (and Damian) fired, Lily agrees to talk to Nate and Devon about hiring him. She’s heard (from Audra via Holden) that Damian has a bad temper. Yes, he ‘flies off the handle’ sometimes – but wouldn’t if he had someone to balance him out (hint, hint)

Declaring his love for Claire, Kyle’s surprised when Victor agrees to his terms – and already has the contract drawn up; break Claire’s heart and you’ll pay me 5 million and leave town. Maybe I’ve been wrong about you, he lies.

When Kyle wants to have the contract looked over before he signs it, Victor suspects he’s looking for an ‘out’. Predictably (and idiotically) Kyle changes his mind. You’ll never have to enforce that, he hands over the signed contract and leaves.

Vikki ends a call to tell Cole that the doctor will see him. As Claire continues to fuss over her Dad, he has another coughing fit after assuring them that it’s just the flu.

Briefly discussing dating apps, Lily appreciates Damian’s honesty about ‘losing it’ sometimes. Both feel comfortable ‘opening up’, perhaps because they were both raised by non-biological fathers. When Holden arrives, Lily makes a hasty exit. Hearing that Dumas fired them, Holden’s the one who loses it. Damn – I was right – you threw me under the bus, didn’t you!?

There was nothing Damian could do – Dumas fired us both. Listen, Lily’s open to giving you a job at Winters. Holden’s pissed that his friend chose a woman he barely knows over their friendship. It’s time we make a clean break and part ways!

Still in the park, Nate won’t hear of Amy going back to Chicago until Damian finds a place. The three are heading off to have lunch when Lily appears. Nate sends Amy and Audra ahead to the club so he can ask Lily what she thinks Dumas is up to.
