In the park, a tortured Tessa leaves Mariah a message – I know you need space but I miss/love my wife. After she hangs up, Phyllis appears. Tessa knows she called because she wants something. Yes, Phyllis absolutely does want something.
Over breakfast at Society, even Amy’s curious about who Aristotle Dumas is. Damian worked for him for years but wouldn’t know the man if he walked in and sat at this table. He’s optimistic that things will soon turn around for him. Amy thinks they already have.
For some reason, Lily meets Devon and Abby at the home of the only person in town not going to France. Damian’s coming after his breakfast with Amy. Devon wonders why he’d want to go to a party hosted by the man who just fired him. Everyone’s ready for the big reveal.
Phyllis thanks Tessa for agreeing to meet her. This isn’t about spying on Daniel – she took Tessa’s advice and has backed off. He’s in a lot of pain, she knows.
It’s a perfect time to visit – Daniel has nothing going on since he doesn’t have a job. Yes, his Mom has backed off on finding him work. So, how are you doing? Danny puts on his concerned-Dad face.

Back at Nate’s, Devon remembers what Victor said (that Dumas told Damian about Winters months ago) According to my brother it never happened, Nate’s defensive. Why would he gather you all under one roof? he wonder. And Damian – and Audra. Audra!? they all make faces.
At CL’s, Daniel tells his Dad and Christine that he’s been getting help – not from a professional; Tessa’s helping him get out of his head (but he’s not ready to say more – yet)
Phyllis won’t go on her business trip if Daniel needs her. You’re a great influence on him, she praises the humble guitar instructor and has another request to make – this one’s more ‘involved’.
Forgiveness sets you free, though Damian admits that he hasn’t put everything behind him yet. Some mornings he wakes up angry all over again – but he’s still grateful to have his Mom back in his life – Dad would enjoy this Dumas mystery. Amy isn’t sure this party is a good idea. Damian’s curious – all the years I worked for Dumas but never met him. He has no idea how he fits into his plan.
Audra managed to get herself invited by pitching a publicity stunt that’s sure to go viral? Lily and Devon are suspicious. Abby suggests that Dumas probably knows her Dad’s funding Audra. When Lily wonders if Dumas might be Tucker, Abby won’t rule it out (as Devon does). And, we can’t underestimate Victor.
Your insight into Dumas’ operation will be helpful to Devon and Lily, (who Amy teases Damian about) I deserve to be there for the big unveiling, Damian needs closure. He hopes he didn’t unwittingly bring trouble to the Winters doorstep.
