Chelsea drops by Adam’s office – let’s go our for dinner. He’s leaving yet another message for his Dad; call me back, it’s important. Did something big happen? Chelsea asks.

Finding Cane alone in the maze dining room, Amanda’s sorry the night didn’t go as he’d hoped. She gets the feeling he’s keeping more secrets.

Tossing and turning in bed, Lily flashes back to arguing with Cane about the twins seeing Collin. You trusting him shows you have bad judgement – I don’t want you around the kids either. Cane bangs his hand on the table – you will NOT cut me off from my kids. Meet Collin, he implores – don’t you at least owe me that? Lily puts on a robe and exits her ‘room’.

Cane has a few other surprises for his guests. What’s your take on everyone’s reaction? Everyone was surprised, except Victor. Amanda knows Lily’s response is what matters the most. She just needs more time to process it, Cane’s sure. He stopped by the train to see her; Devon was pressuring her to leave. There’s a big storm coming (both look up at the night sky) It might be Cane’s only hope of keeping Lily there. I need her here.

Lily finds Damian having a drink in the train’s common area. He doesn’t need to ask what, or who, is keeping her awake.

Of course, Cane is the reason Lily’s still awake. We should leave in the morning, she’s decided. Devon’s overprotective but his heart’s in the right place. And, he’s right, Cane thinks she’ll give him another chance. The sooner she’s away from him, the better.

Not everyone can be bought, Cane knows. Lily certainly can’t be, Amanda knows – but will Victor sell him Chancellor? Don’t underestimate him. Cane won’t – Victor’s the one who underestimated Aristotle Dumas, and now he underestimates Cane Ashby. I’d never do anything like that to you, Phyllis’ appearance makes Amanda shake her head.

My father’s not returning my calls, Adam wonders if he’s getting the cold shoulder for missing the Billy deadline. Chelsea wishes they could give Victor something else to sink his teeth into. Someone’s making some ‘big moves’ in GC, Adam’s afraid that someone is Dumas.

Pouring himself another glass of wine, Damian approves of Lily’s decision to go back home and thanks her again for helping him in the maze. Dumas stays under the radar – Cane’s a ‘go big or stay home’ kinda guy. He’s becoming just like his Dad, Lily doesn’t want to think about Cane anymore. What can I do to take your mind off your troubles? Damian asks.

At Society, Chelsea’s looking at the menu while Adam’s busy on his phone. He just got confirmation on some rumours he heard – someone’s buying up real estate in GC, commercial properties and condos within walking distance of Jabot and Chancellor. The real estate company is owned by Arabesque. Why would Dumas do this? That’s why Adam’s trying to reach his Dad.
