This trip has been one surprise after another, Devon tells Abby that he’ll protect his sister from Cane.
On the train for a bottle of Perrier, Lily blasts Amanda for not warning her.
After a ‘perfect’ shower (in their sleeping car) Sally won’t let Billy distract her – we need to go home and launch Abbott Communications. It’ll be better if we do it here, if we can do it right, Billy claims.
Seated at the outdoor table, Diane’s sure Harrison’s having fun with Summer in Italy – and Claire, Vikki and Cole needed time together. She’s not sure where Jack is – he left a note saying he’d gone exploring.
Dad probably just went for a walk, Kyle hopes he found a tunnel out of here. Jack’s note saying ‘don’t worry’ tips Diane off that he’s up to something. This isolation, frustration, all the food and drinking etc. – anything can happen. Kyle wonders what’s really troubling his Mom.
Trying to call home? Audra tells Damian that his Mom won’t be worried – Nate will keep her calm. He does worry; stress isn’t good for her. Do I see sparks between you and Lily? Audra asks.
Lily asks Amanda what Cane’s intentions are – we were almost family before Devon ruined things between you two. Please, you know something. He wants to get back with you – is there any chance that can happen? Amanda asks.
For all we know, someone’s already stolen our thunder by publishing the story, Sally frets. Billy points out that Cane wants Chancellor – and he (Billy) wants Victor to lose it. I know Cane – five minutes alone with him and this trip turns into the score of a lifetime.
As Lily told Cane, there’s no chance they’ll get back together. Amanda’s sorry – she should have known how betrayed Lily would feel. Lily understands that Amanda has obligations. Did Cane take Collin’s place committing crimes? Lily asks.
When Abby wonders why he was invited, Chance confides to her and Devon that Cane thinks someone will try to kill him before this vacation is over.
Nothing’s bothering me, Diane lies before Kyle finally gets her to admit that she’s concerned about Audra using him. It needs to stop, NOW.
Audra believes that Damian didn’t know Cane was behind this; she knows he hopes for more than a friendship with Lily. She wants nothing to do with her ex, Damian’s sure – then wonders what’s going on between Audra and Kyle.
A lot’s changed since Cane left Chancellor – if he wants it, he’ll meet with me, Billy’s sure. He stopped returning your calls, Sally reminds – your time and emotional investment may never pay off. Cane’s desperate – I know him; we’re not blood but we’re brothers. He needs me. Success, revenge and respect are tied into one knot for you – don’t you give a damn about what WE’RE building anymore? Sally’s on the verge of tears.
Why would Victor invest in Audra unless he was going to use her to hurt your father – through you? Diane sees the looks between her and Victor – they’re working to take you down.
Audra claims that she and Kyle are former colleagues – their relationship is in the past, just like her and Holden (she wouldn’t risk losing Nate) Damian suspects she plans to do something behind Nate’s back.
Amanda wouldn’t work for Cane if she didn’t believe he was decent. Lily sees nothing decent in Cane. Collin roped him back in. He got all this by being exactly like his father. She’s disgusted (and stomps out)
