Phyllis finally drops her bombs – the Newmans know that you’ve gone to GC, have bought real estate and divisions of Chancellor that Nikki sold. Cane would like to know how the Newmans got their information.

Billy’s sure he and Cane will work together to take Chancellor from Victor. Who will run Abbott Communications? Jack’s pissed that his brother made an arrangement with Sally before talking to him first.

Billy shares his plans for Chancellor and assumes Jack won’t have a problem with Sally running the day to day at Abbott Communications. Sally’s confident she can run it. Jack didn’t invest in Sally, he invested in his brother! If you don’t trust me, this conversation’s over, Billy concludes.

Sharon goes to talk to Phyllis, while Nick asks Cane about not being able to contact the outside world. Cane built his empire for love, just as Victor did. He’s pleased to be spending this time with ‘friends’.

Phyllis immediately guesses that Nick told Sharon to ‘dissect’ her brain. Busted, Sharon would like to know which side Phyllis picked.

Phyllis tells Sharon that she and Cane wonder why Nick brought her. You could be in GC doing GC things – instead, you’re getting information from me, for Nick. Phyllis hasn’t picked a side yet (but goes on to imply that she’s leaning towards Cane)

Nick balks at Cane referring to them as ‘friends’. As for Lily (Cane’s ‘anchor’) she’s moved on – if anything, this will just push her further away. He knows Cane wants Chancellor.

Hand to God, Billy tried to get past losing Chancellor – but must prove himself. To who!? Jack knows it’s the thrill of the game that excites his brother. Diane and Sally referee – it might be a moot point anyway.

Billy won’t change his mind – how about I change yours? Don’t you want to take Victor down? It’s a mistake, Jack warns him to be careful he doesn’t screw himself out of two companies. Is that a threat? Billy asks.

Phyllis didn’t say she was siding with Cane. Go tell Nick your take though. Cane bought the GCAC; maybe he’s already had your things thrown out the window, Sharon warns. When Phyllis wants credit for not telling Cane about Adam, Sharon hopes she continues to keep that to herself.

We don’t need to be enemies, Cane extends his hand to shake. Nick still wants to hear that the Newmans have nothing to worry about. Cane’s sure the Newmans will be just fine. Phyllis and Sharon watch the men shake hands.
