Nick’s tying his shoelaces with vigour when Sharon knocks on his door. No, she’s not there to stop him. I’m coming with you, she walks in.

Audra doesn’t have an arrangement with Victor – he’s funding Vibrante because I’ll make him money. No, he wants you to come between me and Claire and you failed miserably, Kyle only went along with the perfume war idea to string Audra along. That kiss was just to see how far you’d take it. Kyle got his answer – you were willing to go all the way.

Pouring himself a drink, Billy flashes back to Jack saying how proud their father would be of him – telling him to get out there and prove himself – you’ll be great. Here’s to making myself proud, Billy toasts himself. Phyllis appears – is this from Cane’s private stash? she pours a drink.

The mountain is steep and treacherous, Nick warns. Sharon won’t be talked out of going with him. She steps out of sight when Carter arrives with a man who’s clearly security. I need you to come with me. Mr Dumas believes his life’s in danger – your threats are concerning. For Mr Dumas’ safety and the peace of mind of our guests, I’m placing you under house arrest.

Now zipping up his pants, Kyle knows Audra wouldn’t have stopped. You’re pissed off that I beat you at your own game. Screw you, Audra snarls. Not today, Kyle quips. It’s over. It’ll be a relief not to have to pretend that Vibrante will ever see the light of day.

Phyllis gulps down her drink – I needed that. She and Billy chat about Jack, Chancellor and Phyllis always landing on her feet. She came here thinking she’d take on the world with Dumas/Cane – now her boss might be up on murder charges. He’s innocent. Lily and Nick are determined to pin Damian’s death on Cane but Billy thinks they’re ‘dead wrong’. This trip is a disaster – it can’t get any worse, Phyllis concludes.

Carter informs Nick that he’s the prime suspect and it looks like you’re preparing to escape before the authorities arrive. Where are these authorities? Nick shouts MOVE! The ‘goon’ steps up. Don’t make him draw his weapon, Carter suggests Nick come with him peacefully.

You were so sure of yourself, Kyle continues to gloat – but what you and Victor don’t get is how much I love Claire. The last thing he’d do is jeopardize that for another cheap fling with Audra. You failed. Get out. Without a word, she complies.

Over drinks, Phyllis yet again claims that Cane’s innocent. Who else has the motive and means? Billy thinks they need a plan. What sort of plan? Billy wants to get Chancellor back and you want a job. They agree that they need to get Cane off the hook.

Carter wasn’t aware that Sharon was in Nick’s room. Should I get Victor? she asks Nick. I heard everything, she tells Carter; who says she’ll have to come too. Neither of you have a choice.
