In the park, Tessa chats brightly to Aria (a toddler in a stroller) Passing by, Daniel looks sad as he watches them.
Nice not to have to find your way through a maze for breakfast, Jack jokes as he and Diane return home. Though she worries that Audra will be more dangerous once she loses everything, Jack’s sure Kyle can handle her schemes. What schemes? Billy comes out of the kitchen – wanting to finish the discussion they started in Nice. After Diane leaves he repeats that it’s time he and Jack end their business relationship.
Exchanging insults with Phyllis at CL’s, Diane’s surprised she didn’t stay in Nice – did you bleed Cane dry already? He couldn’t get enough of me, Phyllis boasts.
Who is this big girl? Daniel comes over to ask. He doesn’t have any ‘fishy crackers’ but he does happen to have some fishy-gummies. Aria’s been ‘out of sorts’ and Tessa has no idea when Mariah’s coming home; I’m practically a single Mom. Noting that Aria’s in a better mood, Daniel might also have a way to improve Tessa’s.
In the dining room, Jack’s stunned to hear that Cane still plans to return to GC. He made his real estate acquisitions while we were all in Nice – why would Billy put his future in Cane’s hands??
Continuing to bicker, Diane accuses Phyllis of stepping over two dead bodies to make a deal with Cane.
With Aria now napping in her stroller, Daniel teaches Tessa how to see animals in the clouds and encourages her to take care of herself so she can take care of Aria. Tessa doesn’t see him looking smitten when she puts a hand on his arm as she calls him ‘kind’.
Insulted, Phyllis disagrees that Cane’s responsible for the homicides. No wonder you’re getting in bed with Cane Ashby, you’re cut from the same cloth, Diane sips her tea.
Billy wants to give things with Cane a second shot. He lured us all to his home in Nice and lied about not being able to communicate with the outside world! Jack reminds. Billy just wants to know if he’s interested in selling his stake in Abbott Communications, or not.
Aria still asleep, Daniel’s excited to play for Tessa – he’s been practicing and has a surprise. It’s a date – but not a date, date. Mind coming somewhere with me and Aria? Tessa asks.
It’s clear to Jack that Billy wants Chancellor; which will put him in confrontations with Victor. You’ve already signed a contract putting Sally in charge of Abbott Communications. Call Cane – if he wants my shares, Jack’s interested. What’s the catch? Billy’s suspicious.
