After a ‘rough’ video call with Nate, Devon and Lily hope their cousin has convinced Amy to move to GC. Damian and Chance are gone because Cane decided to play God; him coming to GC is the last thing Lily wants to deal with.
Meeting Sally at Society’s bar, Audra orders gin and whines about Victor terminating her contract and demanding his money back. Sally doesn’t mean to pile on – but, what did you think was going to happen?
‘Wow, way to support your bestie’, Audra doesn’t appreciate the ‘I told you so’. Sit, you won’t let a perfectly good gin and tonic go to waste, Sally’s there to support Audra but you know how Victor operates and you underestimated Kyle’s commitment to Claire. No, He underestimated ME – he’ll never see me coming.
Adam’s on the phone postponing the hit piece on Billy when Claire and Kyle walk into his office. Why else do Newmans drop by each other unannounced? Claire wants to make a deal.
There’s an art to seduction, it can’t happen overnight, Audra disagrees that Kyle’s in love with Claire and will make her see the truth. Sally worries that it’s Audra’s relationship that’s at risk.
You were there – you heard Victor disrespect my relationship with Kyle and humiliate him. Claire vows to live life on her own terms; Victor will have to live with it. She’s done.
Back at CL’s, Lily and Devon continue to discuss Cane. You two were the perfect couple, Devon reminds that Cane offered himself to save Lily’s life. He genuinely wants to get back together with you. Devon never thought he’d get over losing Hilary and was lucky that lightning struck twice. Mr Newman, Devon invites Victor to joins them. Hearing that Lily plans to avoid Cane at all costs, he doesn’t think that a good idea.
Victor thinks Lily might be the only person who Cane might confide in. You’ve used me before, she’ll pass. He might come after Winters – maybe you should make Cane think he has a future with him. Think about it, Victor leaves.
Nate will never find out about the drama in Nice, Audra confides that she and Kyle kissed – then he claimed he was on to me. If he dares to say anything to Nate, Claire will find out – I’m in the clear. But, how will she tell Nate that Vibrante is gone? Tell him YOU ended the partnership because you got a better offer, Sally suggests.
This isn’t retaliation, Claire just wants to buy Adam’s condo. Newman’s gearing up for an attack, Adam thinks it’d be problematic to go against Victor. You want to tick off Victor. Victor arrives – let me guess, you want to buy Adam’s apartment. Did you tell them it’s not for sale? You think you control every house and apartment in GC? Kyle smirks. What makes you think I can’t? Victor replies.
