Agreeing that Damian was a good man, Holden’s sorry for Lily’s loss and what Amy and Nate are going through. Finding it interesting that Cane rehired Holden, she warns him to stay away, or at least watch his back.
Nick understands why Cane would be on edge – with Carter gone, he’s got no one to rely on. With Phyllis being the closest thing to an ‘inner circle’, he wonders if she’d open the door for an old friend.
Holden declares Cane a fair boss; he’s grateful for his job. Don’t say I didn’t warn you, Lily tells Cane that what he’s asking for is outrageous – good luck with the kids. If she talks to them first, she’ll tell them everything.
Correctly guessing that the ‘despicable’ Audra is Claire’s problem, Nikki’s horrified to hear that she staged a kiss with Kyle – then worried when Claire wants to fight back.
Audra tells Nate that she’s going to work for Sally. He needs a second to catch up – it feels like I missed a lot.
When Holden declares Lily an angry ex, Cane warns him not to disrespect her! Add Nick to the list of people you’re to connect with (Cane needs to know what he’s thinking)
Phyllis doesn’t have that kind of pull with Cane – but here’s someone who does. Both jump up to ask Lily how the twins are taking the news. She confides that they’re upset. are – how are we ever going to forgive him?
Don’t worry – Claire would never resort to her Jordan-era behaviour (no poison) As soon as Nate gets back from his brother’s funeral, she’ll blow Audra out of the water.
Audra takes Nate’s hands – Nice changed everything. She values his advice. He supports her decision and is relieved that she doesn’t owe Victor anything (but isn’t happy that she’s withholding something)
Bringing Lily a Martini, Phyllis reassures Lily that the twins will forgive their father. If he hurts them any more than he already has, he’ll have to deal with me, Lily tells her and Nick.
Cane leaves Charlie a message asking that he and Mattie call him – we have a lot to talk about.
