Lily and Devon never believed that Audra had changed (even though she cried at dinner that one time and has supported Amy) Nate admits that he overlooked a few red flag, like her connection to Holden. You were both right all along.

When Sally tells her about the launch party for Abbott Communications, a glum Audra doubts Kyle’s family will let her work there.

Over drinks, Billy knows that Lily has standards – that’s one of the things he loves about her. Yes, Cane told Phyllis – it went as well as you’d imagine. You have no idea what you’ve just unleashed, Billy adds that she doesn’t take rejection well.

Phyllis doesn’t need Nick’s help. He wishes she’d come to him instead of Cane. What’s his plan? When Phyllis says it doesn’t matter now, he notes she’s speaking in ‘past tense’.

Cane’s not worried about Phyllis but quips that she might go after Billy’s company. I’m telling the truth, Cane wishes him luck on his next endeavour. Passing Sally on his way out, Cane compliments the decor. What was that about? she asks Billy after he leaves.

Cane didn’t cut me out of the deal – he’s just changed his mind on certain things, Phyllis won’t tell Nick the plan and vows to fix things.

Grateful for his cousins’ support, Nate exchanges I love you’s with Devon and Lily (who steps aside to answer Cane’s call; he asks if she’s watched his video)

Cane’s not backing out, Phyllis blames Nick (and his family) for publishing an expose that affected him and the twins. She’s not sure if ‘peace’ is possible.

Sally hopes Cane didn’t find out that Billy was having him followed. Nope, he claims he’s done a 180 on his plans for GC, Billy’s sceptical.

Lily’s been busy with work and family so hasn’t seen Cane’s video or talked to the kids. It’ll take time for all of us. Maybe not much time, Cane’s perspective has changed. If Lily hears from the kids she’ll let him know ~click~

Phyllis isn’t being manipulated by Cane; we’re business partners and kindred spirits, she tries to convince Nick.

Concerned about Lily leaving without barely saying goodbye, Nate can tell that Devon trusts Cane as much as he does Audra (who makes a three second appearance to grab her take out order)

In the park, Lily watches Cane’s video. He’d give anything for her and the twins. I love you. She wipes away a tear (while a depressed Cane drinks on his train)

Nick’s worried about Phyllis. No need, she’s better than ever. Not if you’re still planning to go after the ‘life blood’ of your friends and family. He begs her to rethink this. I’ve got this – back off, Phyllis leaves.

Billy suspects Cane might be trying to put the spotlight on him so he can quietly move forward with his plan; the Newmans won’t see him coming. Sally thinks they should find out what Cane’s up to. It’d be a helluva story for Abbott Communications, they agree.
