Traci then greets Cane with a hug. Getting a text from Lauren, Mike leaves. Cane chases him outside to say he’s counting on him to handle Billy. Phyllis and Traci watch intently from the bar.
Daniel doesn’t want to overstep or take sides. Yes, it’s a bit awkward. You better take my side, Tessa jokes. What does your gut say? Daniel asks. Still in love with Mariah, Tessa’s going to the hotel she stayed at, to see if she can find out what happened.
On the verge of tears, Traci and Phyllis bond over their nightmares of what Martin put them through. Debating which one of them is ‘badass’, they toast ‘to the future’. When Cane returns to stare at her intently, Traci seems caught offguard – is everything alright?
Jack talked with Vikki on the drive back from Billy’s – she’s as worried as we are. There’s nothing we can do, Billy’s made up his mind, Diane concludes. Did I hear my name? Billy barges in to say that he has indeed made up his mind – he doesn’t want to fight anymore – he wants to make a deal.
Back on the patio, Tessa’s delighted when Daniel offers to go with her.

I thought you wanted nothing to do with me, Jack scowls. Billy’s had a crazy day; said some stupid things. Now he clearly sees the danger Cane poses – let’s stop the bastard in his tracks, together.
