Audra doesn’t know if she’d have fallen in love with Nate; she doesn’t like being vulnerable. She never thought she’d feel that close to someone. I blew it. Sally encourages her to be brave and show Nate the love she has for him.
The twins are angry at Cane, and so am I. Lily can’t forgive him. Could you forgive Audra? It’d take a lot to convince me, Nate replies. After taking a sip of liquid courage, Audra marches over to ask for a word with him.
When Audra asks for ten minutes, Nate’s not interested in hearing lies. Then don’t go with her, Lily interjects. Follow your heart, Amy advises. After the pair head out, Lily glares at Sally (who’s just given Audra an ‘attagirl’ grin)
You’re hurt and taking it out on everyone in town, Billy accuses him of acting out of revenge – fix your relationship with the twins and Lily. Of course Cane wants to be the father they deserve. Then prove it – get your act together! Billy snaps. Cane will meet him half way – with a deal.
Amy spent a lot of time with Audra; she’s had a tough life. She doesn’t approve of her lying to Nate but there were deep feelings between them. Lily has no sympathy for her and when Sally goes by, stands to ask why she’s encouraging Audra to break Nate’s heart again.
At the park overlook, Audra thanks Nate for supporting her and always giving her the benefit of the doubt. I’m SO incredibly sorry, she cries.
Sally gets where Lily’s coming from but Audra made a mistake and is sorry. Lily claims that she believes in forgiveness – but not when it comes to her cousin. Amy stands to tell Lily that people’s mistakes don’t always define them. With Audra, it does, Lily claims.
Audra knows what she did was wrong – she took Nate’s compassion for granted and should have taken his feelings into account. I miss you; I miss what we had. I’m lonely and there’s a hole in my heart without you. If there’s anything I can do or say, please tell me there’s hope that you’ll forgive me.
Cane will try again with his kids if Billy will do so with Jill (she’s like a mother to me) And 3, 2, 1. Jill arrives to accuse Billy of hurting her more than he’ll ever know.
