In the park, Audra pours her heart out to Nate’s turned back. I miss you so damn much, she continues when he turns around. In tears, she pleads for another chance. A tear rolls down Nate’s cheek.
Victor drops by Jack’s to ask that they speak to Jill together – but won’t commit to working together.
Jill shakes her head sadly when Billy complains that she came to see Cane before him. He’s your number one.
Maternal love pulled you here like a magnet? Billy scoffs – he has a lot to tell Jill about her surrogate son.
Acting on Sally’s advice, Audra must at least try to win Nate back. Finally managing to get a word in, he has a lot to say (none of it good) Audra’s actions have changed how he sees her. I’ve changed, Audra insists.
Maybe Nate only saw what he wanted to see – it wasn’t just one mistake (he recites a list) Audra’s bearing her soul – she’ll do anything to make it up to Nate.
Jill can give Cane her death glare, Jack makes a case (to Victor) for involving her.
Billy and Cane argue in front of Jill like toddlers. Jill has no doubt where Billy stands on making up with her.
Victor disagrees that Billy’s given up on Chancellor. He wouldn’t cross that line, Jack insists. You don’t believe that (Victor detects by Jack’s expression)
What’s there to work out!? Billy shouts at Jill until Cane defends her. She’d hoped they could become friends. Cane’s tried with Billy. You can’t undo it, Victor won’t sell Chancellor back to you, Billy shouts – are you gonna lose faith in Cane like you did me? Silence. That’s what I thought – welcome home Jill (who’s left to tell Cane that she worries she’ll lose him too)
Audra’s apology continues – we can be OK. Nate doesn’t see a way back. Audra wants to move forward – just say yes. Take some time. Nate can’t forget her lies and tricks. He leaves her sobbing in the park.
