We’re NOT gonna lose him, Nick goes to find a doctor (leaving Sharon to weep quietly)
Nate’s not a fan of Holden; a player who posed as his brother. Vikki’s first impression was ‘charming’ – but others say he’s trouble. She now second guesses telling Kyle where to find Claire.
Holden’s sorry he’s late; traffic, he tells Claire, then turns to Kyle – this is a surprise – or, maybe not. Are you OK? he asks Claire. Kyle implores Claire to hear him out – I came all this way. After Holden goes to the lobby to wait, Kyle and Claire bicker.
A nurse comes out with a brief update for Sharon; Noah’s out of surgery and will be moved to a room soon. Shedding tears of relief, Sharon sends Nick a text, then thanks God for saving Noah. I can’t lose another child, she sobs. Please save our baby!
Nick rejoins Sharon to hear that Noah’s out of surgery and will be moved to a room soon. Since neither can eat, Nick distracts Sharon with updates from home – Faith’s taking care of Christian. Ally wanted to jump on a plane, Sharon adds that she’s on a group chat with Summer and Faith. Noah’s gonna be OK, Nick takes her hand.
Vikki will tell Claire about Noah’s accident when they talk later. She’s never met him but will probably want to go to the hospital to support Nick and Sharon. Maybe Kyle can go too, Nate’s optimistic that everything will work out. Holding hands across the table, they reflect on what Cole and Damian would say if they were here.
While Kyle grumbles about Holden, Claire objects to him trying to control who she sees and what she does – your actions reinforce why we shouldn’t be together right now. Claire needs to decide what she wants for her future before she can think about their future. Kyle knows coming to LA was crazy, but he’s crazy in love with Claire and wants to fight for her.
After leaving Claire a ‘call me’ message, Vikki thanks Nate for his level-headed perspective. Both are happy to have run into one another. I’m here whenever you need me, Nate smiles.
Claire knows that Kyle loves her – but wants to focus on herself. I do miss home, she admits – tell Harrison I’m fine. Kyle’s checked into the hotel so will be here for a few days if Claire changes her mind. After taking a selfie for Harrison, Kyle leaves and Holden reappears to ask Claire if she’s OK.
Nick can’t stop thinking about why Noah was driving alone in Malibu so late. It doesn’t feel right to him. He hasn’t seemed himself lately – he sounded nervous/manic. They’ll just have to wait until he’s awake to answer their questions. On cue, a nurse comes out to tell them that they can see Noah now.
Off to meet a GCM board member about his idea to honour Damian, Nate suggests they go out for dinner sometime. Vikki thanks him for listening, and with a good-bye hug, is left to check her phone for word from Nick.
Claire didn’t expect Kyle to follow her to LA. Holden doesn’t want to step in it – do you want to hear my opinion? Kyle’s a man very much in love – a bit obsessive but he’s devoted to you and Holden understands why. Placing a hand on his chest, Claire makes it clear that she does NOT regret coming to LA with him.
Oh my God! Sharon’s distraught at the sight of Noah (with a breathing tube and his head and face fully bandaged) What happened to our boy?! she crumples in Nick’s arms.
