With a sigh, Billy joins Jack as he worries about Cane over a drink in the jazz lounge. Billy won’t judge him for aligning with Victor. Since you won’t fund Abbott Communications, buy me a drink? he asks.

As Nick demands answers, the ‘investigator’ informs that they found Noah because the witness called it in. Our son could have died! Sharon clings to Nick.

We were lucky to get that call, the investigator can’t share the name of the witness because the investigation’s just begun. No, Nick does NOT ‘understand’. What was Noah doing in LA? the investigator asks – and on that road so late at night? Are you trying to blame this on my son!? Nick’s pissed.

Encountering Audra in the park, Nate’s not interested in small talk – I’m meeting someone. ‘Sorry I’m late’, Vikki’s arrival results in awkward silence.

Can we have a civilized drink together? Jack admits he comes down on Billy too hard. Billy admits he’s not always open to receiving Jack’s wisdom. The brothers chuckle – Jack wants peace.

When Nate asks why Vikki isn’t dressed for a run, she explains that she just came from her parents house. When Nate tells Audra that Noah was in a car accident in LA, she yelps ‘Is he OK!?’ She still cares about Noah – so would like to be included in the conversation Vikki would rather have in private.

No, we don’t think Noah’s at fault, the investigator continues to irritate Nick by being vague and condescending. Handing his phone over so Nick can enter his number, the investigator really does hope their son pulls through – I’ll be in touch. That was …strange, Sharon and Nick are left to agree – and wonder who would want to hurt Noah? And why?

No, Billy didn’t talk to Jill again before she left town. Jack thinks her eyes were opened on this trip – she has a soft spot for Cane but she’s no fool (and didn’t like what she heard) Agreeing to disagree on whether Jill loves Billy, Jack wonders where he stands with Cane these days.

When it becomes clear that Vikki won’t discuss Noah with her, Audra gives up and sends her best wishes. Telling Nate that she’s been chatting with Amy, Audra leaves them to their privacy. Nate’s sorry about that. It’s always awkward running into exes, Vikki comments – except us. As for Noah, It doesn’t sound good, Vikki sighs.

Back in the waiting room, Nick doesn’t remember the detective showing his ID – and why was he asking so many questions? Sharon’s only focus is Noah’s recovery – nothing else matters. Noah’s phone rings in its clear bag – the call is from ‘Sienna Bacall’.

Vikki tells Nate that Noah’s car went over a ravine near Malibu – someone saw it and called 911. He suffered head trauma so they operated and induced a coma. A supportive Nate’s optimistic that he’ll recover.

Nick answers – this is Nick Newman. Calling from the LA bar, Sienna’s stunned to hear that Noah’s been in an accident – is he gonna be alright? How do you know my son? Nick wants to know who he’s talking to. Sienna panics.

Billy wants nothing to do with Cane. He wanted Chancellor and Cane had him chasing his tail. He realized it wasn’t going to happen; it wasn’t meant to be – and admits his brother’s advice factored in (but gives most of the credit to Sally) Billy wonders why Jack reached out to Jill – was it to stop Cane or check up on me?’
