Nick didn’t mean to come on so strong. Sienna gets it – but she’s not the bad guy. The police have a witness who saw Noah being run off the road, Nick learns that Noah was at The Shadow room until midnight. Sienna doesn’t know how much Noah drank – I’m not a babysitter. Why did she call Noah? To give him info on permits and suppliers. She hung up because she got flustered. When Sienna needs to get to work, Nick again apologizes – but he WILL find out what happened to his son.
Sharon stands aside while Claire introduces herself to Noah – she’s looking forward to hanging out, maybe in London. My Dad loved England, she tears up. When Claire comments on the special connection Sharon and Nick share, Sharon smiles through her tears; he’s the one person she can always rely on.
Seated at the outdoor cafe, Kyle looks up The Shadow Room on his phone. Sienna runs the club with her husband, Mitch. Kyle finds it odd that there’s a photo of Sienna, but not of Mitch.
Nick thanks Sienna for talking to him. He’d like her number to keep her posted. You already have it, she jots it down anyway. Nick appreciates her time. She’ll say a prayer for Noah – he’s one of the good guys.
You’ve been quite loyal, Cane agrees – but our goals are no longer aligned. Your goals ARE my goals, she’s ‘still in’. Accused of having a side project, Phyllis is again indignant but looks nervous when Cane stands to ask ‘one more time – did you steal my program?’
Nick joins Holden in the waiting room to ask what’s up with him and Claire. Looking at a photo of Noah, Holden doesn’t recall seeing him at The Shadow Room. Asked about Sienna, he claims he just hung out at her club. How crazy that she knows Noah? Small world, he squirms. Claire comes out to hug her Uncle. After they leave, Nick mutters to himself ‘small world; not a chance in hell’.
Phyllis didn’t steal the program. Cane really wants to believe her. Then believe me – you have a lot of enemies in this town; start with Victor Newman.
Claire returns to the cafe to tell Kyle that she just saw Noah. He knows being in a hospital must have reminded her of her Dad. Handing her a napkin to dry her tears, Kyle tells Claire to enjoy the rest of her day. Wait, Claire stops him.
Claire thanks Kyle for the flowers – it’s nice to have a reminder of home. Kyle was afraid Holden would buy her a bigger, better bouquet. Yes, that was an ‘asinine’ thing to say but you won’t have to worry about me bothering you anymore. You’re giving up? she seems disappointed that Kyle’s going back to GC.
Nick returns with food – Sharon must keep her strength up. It was nice of Claire to come by, they agree. Hearing that Noah’s hand twitched, he also briefly/mistakenly thinks it’s a great sign. You won’t believe who I ran into at the hotel (Sienna McCall) and who she’s friends with (Holden) Nick’s sure she’s hiding something.
Sienna’s wiping the bar when Holden arrives to say he’d rather leave their past in the past. The Newmans are a powerful family, he’s just giving her a heads up for old time’s sake. Nick’s suspicious. Holden seems to be too – how well do you know Noah and what do you know?
Phyllis thinks Cane should stop badgering her and focus on Victor. If she’s lying, Cane promises he’ll make her regret it. Phyllis doesn’t break eye contact as she swears he has nothing to worry about.
