Claire sways in Holden’s arms briefly before asking what Sienna wanted – then is furious to hear that Kyle came looking for dirt on Holden. What is WRONG with him!?
In Milan, Mom let me have extra scoops of Gelato, Harrison continues to feast on cheap candies. Told that Claire hasn’t seen the selfie they sent, he figures she may be at a party (a thought that makes Kyle pout again)
Kyle loves you, Holden states the obvious. It doesn’t feel like love, Claire wants to forget he ever existed – I don’t want to see his stupid face. Holden knows she cares about Kyle – maybe you wish you were with him instead of me. Claire’s passionate kiss says otherwise.
Asked about Noah’s state of mind, Sienna says he was excited about opening a club in town. Why here? Sharon wonders. Mitch met Noah in London; he wanted to invest. Sharon’s stunned to hear that Noah was in LA three months ago. He never said anything to me, she’s mystified.
At the bar, Claire’s kiss leaves Holden panting. She’s done dancing – let’s get out of here, she leads him out.
Sharon doesn’t understand why Noah didn’t mention LA to her or Nick – she’d like to speak to Mitch. He just got back from a trip; Sienna will see what she can do – but has to get back to work now.
Time for bed, Kyle announces. Maybe you, Claire and I can wear our costumes together next year, Harrison asks his Dad to check his phone again. Still no word. Harrison hopes she didn’t run into the big bad wolf in LA. I hope so too, Kyle sighs to himself.
In Claire’s hotel suite, she and Holden drink water from the same glass. Neither want more alcohol, neither are tired. Claire again initiates a passionate kiss.
Outside the club, Sharon calls Nick to say where she went and why. Her ‘sense’ of Sienna? She’s hiding something. Her, this club, it’s all connected to Noah being run off the road, Sharon’s sure.
Kyle’s back downstairs to flash back to leaving Claire with Holden at the outdoor restaurant. Looking at his phone, he’s devastated that she still hasn’t responded to the selfie he sent.
Are you sure? Holden’s breathing heavily. Does this answer your question? Claire slips her dress off her shoulders. They kiss their way onto the bed.
Sharon tells Nick that Noah was in LA more than once – and that Mitch just got back from a trip; Sienna wasn’t sure he’d be at the club tonight. Worried about her safety, Nick suggests they go back tomorrow/together. No one’s gonna mess with me, Sharon’s defiant, but agrees that if Mitch doesn’t turn up soon, she’ll go to the hotel. We need to find out who did this to Noah. Be careful, Nick warns. Hanging up, Sharon bumps into a man on his way into the club. OMG! Matt Clark! she gasps.
Next Week: Sienna told me you were in town, ‘Mitch’ says to Holden (with Claire) – it’s been a long time … Matt Clark!? Nick thinks it’s too much of a coincidence. The only way he can piece it all together is to see Matt Clark for himself… We’re ready to remove Noah’s bandages, the doctor informs. We’ll get to see his beautiful face again, Sharon gushes as she and Nick watch the doctor remove the bandages. Sitting up and conscious, Noah blinks at them.
My Thoughts: Why would Sharon be so gobsmacked that her adult son went to LA without telling her? If ‘Mitch’ has money to invest in nightclubs, perhaps he should start with his own dive. Given the abundance of posters plastered everywhere advertising live entertainment, you’d think The Shadow Room would have hired a band to play on Halloween. Maybe then they could have charged their handful of patrons a cover charge to get in – maybe they’d even have enough of a line-up outside that they’d need a bouncer to let patrons through the velvet crowd-control rope thingy… It’s a bit rich for Nick to worry about Sharon’s safety after dark in LA when, per capita, the crime rate in GC FAR exceeds whatever’s going on in LA. Any uptick in crime can easily be attributed to the Newman family crime-wave descending upon the City of Angels. As someone who lives in a home with, brace yourselves, gender neutral bathrooms, it was nice to see Sharon and Sienna having their chat in front of a VERY prominent ‘Gender Neutral Restroom’…. Oh yeah – where the heck is Ally??? It truly IS a ‘small world’ – LA seems to have only one outdoor restaurant, everyone keeps bumping into each other – and, of course, poor Sharon would run into the man who raped her and framed Nick for his ‘murder’ decades ago. If she didn’t have bad luck, she’d have no luck at all.
