When Nick drosps by her room, Sharon worries about Matt Clark and whether to go to Boston to see Mariah. Neither slept much – Matt must have known who Noah was when inviting him to LA – why does he still hate us so much?
In the Shadow Room, ‘Mitch’ tells Sienna that he has no idea why Noah’s parents think his real name is Matt. He’d rather talk about ‘us’ – why didn’t you come home last night?
Over breakfast in the outdoor restaurant, Nikki cautions Claire (knowing better than anyone the regret that comes after a night of drinking)
Claire has no regrets but is more confused than ever and doesn’t want to burden her grandmother. As freeing as this trip has been, it’s time she went home. Holden appears – guess that’s one less familiar face I’ll see here, he smiles.
While Sharon’s off to the hospital, Nick’s going back to the Shadow Room to try confront Matt Clark again.
When Claire invites Holden to join them, Nikki and Vikki leave for the hospital. Your grandmother doesn’t like me, he’s sorry he’s a bad influence. Claire owns all her decisions, but, having found some perspective, it’s time for her to go home. Holden wonders where he fits in, but no pressure (‘that’s a Kyle thing’) Her flight leaving that afternoon, Claire wants to go back to see Sienna at the Shadow Room.
After a long night, Sienna explains that she slept in the office. Tell Noah’s parents the truth – that you don’t know anything about the accident. Mitch adds – unless you know something you aren’t telling me.
About to read to Noah, Sharon sees his hand twitch again – then a few more times. Noah!! I’m here – can you hear me?! Mom, he murmurs.
Holden wants his skeletons with Audra to stay in the closet. Claire wanting to ammo to stop Audra in her tracks, troubles him – Are you thinking of giving Kyle another chance?
If Noah was intentionally run off the road, Sienna worries the cops might come looking at them and their connections. I wish this would all go away. You might get your wish; Noah might not make it, Mitch reports.
Back to visit the mountains, Claire laughs as Holden snaps photos of her; both admiring the ‘view’.
The cranian swelling has reduced, the doctor’s removed the tubes; Noah’s vitals have returned to normal. Sharon’s ecstatic – you’re coming back to us!
Holden and Claire take turns taking photos of one another until she decides it’s time to go to the Shadow Room.
