The wedding guests all stand in a big ole circle of merriment for a bit before Nina and Lauren take Christine upstairs to change. Danny tells Gina (his sister) how happy he is.

At CL’s, Cane thinks he should get going. Phyllis wants to do something to turn this day around – we can find something creative to do. Challenge accepted, Cane agrees.

In the bridal suite, Nina tells Chris and Lauren that it was Ester who sent the allergenic flowers, not Phyllis. Now it’s time to get the bride into her reception dress.

Danny can’t believe it’s real – he’s the luckiest man on the planet – ‘Mrs Romalotti is the real rock star’, he toasts with Mike and a few guests. Across the room, Daniel tells Tessa that he ‘can’t go through with it’ (performing their song)

When Chris comes down in a white satin gown, Gina is the first to speak and manages to slip in an insult about a certain ‘shrew’ (Phyllis) Nina goes next – Mike’s toast is more about Lauren, but elicits laughter with a reminder that he generously donated a kidney to Danny. Daniel says nice things about his Dad – he deserves the best – and Chris is the best; to my Dad and his beautiful bride. As all applaud, Phyllis arrives (with Cane) Glass in hand, she’d like to say a few words.

Phyllis clips clops in – please let me make a toast. Chris tells her to go for it. I just heard my son say he’s never seen his Dad so happy – I have to agree. As much as it kills me, it’s true, Phyllis toasts to their long and enduring love – clearly you were meant to be. To Chris – your tenacity – you never gave up – you finally got your man – cheers. As Daniel hustles his Mom out, the awkwardly silent guests get awkward on the dancefloor.

In her suite, Phyllis is glad to be away from those losers – she was just joking. I HAVE moved on, she vows. Prove it, Cane challenges. The proof, of course, is a kiss.

You want more proof? Phyllis suggests a game – take off a piece of clothing that symbolizes baggage we’ve been carrying around – this top is the grief of Chris and Danny getting married. She unbuttons Cane’s shirt – this represents Lily – gone, she tosses it aside. This is your kids disapproval of you, she unbuckles Cane’s belt. He steps out of his pants. Etc, etc.

As the guests dance, Daniel continues to worry about performing. Tessa encourages him – you’ve got this. Without further delay, Daniel asks for everyone’s attention. He has a gift for his Dad and Chris – that he’d like to share with all of them too.
