Finding the remnants of a ‘drug-fuelled party’, Nick concludes that the partiers were scared off before they could take their ‘stash’. Using a tissue, he picks up an empty baggie – does that look familiar to you? Flashback to Matt tossing Nick a baggie of fentanyl – saying that maybe he gave some to Noah, maybe not. He used me and slept with my wife! Realtime, Nick pulls the baggie out of his pocket – it’s the same. We have to find our son – NOW!
Welcomed warmly, Sally gushes that Traci’s outfit is as lovely as the one she wore to Danny’s wedding (a fan of Traci’s books, she follows her ‘socials’) Informed that Jack’s picking Ashley up from the airport, Billy and Sally hand over their pies.
Claiming to be OK that Vikki’s ‘friend’ is stopping by, Victor reminds all that Nate tried to have him committed and take his company away. When did you get close to him? We’ve been there for each other, Vikki asks her father to be ‘cordial’. I always am, Victor raises eyebrows of objection. Aside, Chelsea asks Adam what’s really going on with Noah.
Maybe Matt drugged them, Sharon flashes back to him giving them the address in a ‘rough neighbourhood’. Hurry – last time I saw him he was pretty weak. Have fun, Matt said on his way out. In the alley, Sharon wants to split up to search, Nick opposes.
Chelsea continues to grill Adam (who deflects by taking her to check on the turkey) Claire arrives to update her Mom that she’s going to see Harrison later. With Victor in the study on a call, Nikki quietly asks Claire to give her best to Jack and his family – and here’s a homemade pumpkin pie to take over.
We have one pie for every two people, Traci exclaims (Mrs Martinez also made one) Giving Sally a mug of hot apple cider, Billy learns that these are new traditions for her – Thanksgiving for carnies was cotton candy and corn dogs. Traci interrupts their kiss to hand out assignments; Billy’s on mash potato duty; Sally’s to make cocktails.
Harrison hugs his Dad – you remembered my muffin (for AFTER dinner) He talked to Mom on videophone for 45 minutes. Kyle thrills him with the news that Claire’s going to stop by.
We’re better together than apart, Nick flashes back to saying they should involve Burrow. What if this is a trap? What if Noah’s already ….? Sharon panics – what if it’s too late?
Sally serves up cocktails (and a mocktail for Billy) It’s a Hot Toddy with extra ingredients they decide to call the ‘Spicy Sally’. Harrison tells his Dad that he set an extra place beside him for Claire. She’s with her family, Kyle explains – be grateful that she’s stopping by. We’re her family too, Harrison pouts.
Making it very clear that she’s going to see Harrison (not Kyle) Claire agrees that he should come spend time at the ranch. Kyle loves you, Victor’s been known to change his mind – like he did with Cole; your father was an exceptional man. There’s not many men worthy of a Newman woman.
Noah’s alive, Nick assures Sharon. When Burrow and Annie arrive he shows them the baggie of fentanyl Matt gave them to ‘bargain with’ – he implied he drugged Noah and Sienna. You have no idea what Matt Clark’s capable of – he despises us. Burrow has no proof Mitch was involved with Noah’s crash. Nick’s ready to tear this place apart – are you gonna help us or not?
Claire! Harrison launches himself at Claire, who arrives with yet another pumpkin pie (which Harrison now apparently loves) He’s thankful that she’s there – please, you have to stay! he pleads.
Vikki finds it ironic that her father’s now advocating for Kyle. After Victor goes to make a quick call, Adam and Chelsea are sceptical that Nate’s just a friend. Aside, Nikki leaves a message for Nick – she’d like to hear Noah’s voice. Overhearing, Victor looks sad.
Burrow will call for backup – Annie and Nick will go look inside the building. That leaves Sharon to ask Burrow if they can trust him – she can’t shake the feeling he’s hiding something.
