Updated that the family decided to ‘unplug’ Jabot, Sally’s happy to see Billy so ‘fired up’ about AC – this sober, focused, brilliant man is very sexy; the man she fell in love with. Maybe I’m a little too boring for you? Billy teases. Sally will prove otherwise – at home. Victor strolls into Society to interrupt their kiss – hands in his pocket, he rocks back and forth; smiling like the cat who ate the canary.

Do you think the launch of Abbott Communications will go off without a hitch? a smug Victor asks – no one will pull the rug out from under you? Newman Media’s going to take a hit – you’re the one who’ll have the rug pulled out from under you. You two have a wonderful day, Victor saunter off.

Audra doesn’t have a position at Abbott Communications (but gushes about supporting her ‘dear friend’, Sally) Glad to hear that she’s in a good place, Nate would like to get back to his conversation with Victoria. Good day to you both, a sad but polite Audra leaves them to do just that.

What if Phyllis were to hypothetically confess to something she didn’t do? Cane would have done the same thing – you did me a favour – this isn’t a baseless accusation – we’ve had fun but how can we work together without trust? He needs her to take this leap to prove she’s loyal to their ‘professional future’. What does that mean? Phyllis wants to know.

How nice to see you, Victor greets Jack and Diane. They thought his first target would be Jabot, Jack didn’t see that coming (turning Cane’s AI against him) Good on you ‘old boy’. Victor smirks as he raises his glass.

Audra eavesdrops as Victoria entertains Nate with stories about Johnny and Katie fighting. Pulling out her phone to show him a photo, she sees that her father’s been messaging her to meet him at Society – uh oh, it sounds urgent. After she leaves, Audra wastes no time asking Nate if he and Victoria are dating again.

Victor thinks it’s just awful what’s happening to Cane’s company – couldn’t have happened to a nicer person. Jack knows he must be thrilled. It’s always about the last man standing with you. You bet it is, Victor again raises his glass and sips.

Your empire is crumbling in front of your eyes – Phyllis is tired of Cane’s BS and demands while giving her nothing concrete. I don’t trust you – you’ve been playing me for months. Tell me what you want – I’ll make it happen, Chance offers. Phyllis believes he wants to change – by why with me? I choose you, he repeats. What about Lily? Where does she fit into all this? Phyllis is skeptical.

That’s none of your business; you forfeited your right to ask about my personal life when you lied to me, Nate exclaims. Audra’s sorry for the ‘misunderstanding’. No, you lied to my face, repeatedly. Audra still believes her sincere apology should count for something, but she can tell Nate won’t forgive her and is already moving on with Victoria.

Cane needs to get over Lily – she made it clear there’s no future for us. You were right – I destroyed her trust. He wants something positive in his life, but, it has to be honest. You want to do all of that with me? Phyllis reiterates. Yes, if you come clean; getting Jabot with my software is wrong – fate has handed me an opportunity to change; a new beginning. He’s offering Phyllis the same thing – are you in?

When Victoria stops by Jack and Diane’s table to hope they had a nice Thanksgiving, they thank him for sharing Claire with them. After she excuses herself to join her father, the Abbotts conclude that they’re prepared for anything Victor throws their way. Is something wrong? Victoria asks her ‘Daddy’. He’s going to LA but will be back before the AC launch. Wondering what’s going with Nick and Noah, she asks – should I go with you??

Nate’s relationship with Victoria is none of Audra’s business – ‘stop prying’ – she’s not the reason I can’t forgive you – YOU’RE the reason I can’t forgive you. I love what we had. So did Audra – I’ll do anything for another chance. It’s too late, even if Nate could accept her apology, he could never trust her again – I suggest you find a way to live with that, Nate leaves Audra to look rattled.

Victor doesn’t want Nikki to worry; plus, he needs Victoria to hold down the fort at Newman. He’ll only say that he must ‘be there’ for Nick and Noah – let’s not discuss it anymore.

Victor thinks he has me exactly where he needs me, Jack’s not scared that he might have the ‘upper hand’. Diane hopes he doesn’t.

‘Great speech’ – but Phyllis isn’t impressed with Cane’s offer of ‘fulfillment and enrichment’ – she’s more interested in success and the opportunity to show her worth to all the haters in this town. It’s what I deserve – I’m a ‘star’ who needs a platform to shine bright. Can you be a partner that fulfils me? she challenges Cane. Admit you stole my software, he tries again. You win – I’ll tell you the truth, Phyllis finally agrees.
