Holden thinks Audra’s being a bit dramatic by saying that Claire crushed her windpipe but wants her to succeed. Cut your losses, stop looking for a fight with Claire – why do you hate her so much?
Claire tells Sienna the story Holden told her (Audra stealing a check and paying for Holden’s silence) That’s not the whole story and you know it. Sienna’s not a fan – Audra’s trouble. Claire needs to know what really happened.
No more drinks or sleepovers? Lily asks if Cane and Phyllis had a fight. She stole the software, he now knows. Without trust you have nothing, Lily sees the irony. Cane really wants to go to the party with Lily (and be glad he did)
Sienna laughs – you’re not ‘just friends’ with Holden. He did leave out a few details – something a lot worse went down between him and Audra; she wishes she could help Claire. Noah and Nick arrive on cue to ask what’s going on.
Holden thinks Audra’s jealous of Claire. Audra vows to take her down, nothing you can do will stop me. Don’t bet on that, Holden warns.
Yes, Cane thinks they’ll have fun – I believe in us. Are you gonna go alone to smile at people you don’t want to see, waiting for the chance to sneak out? Yes. Cane worries about Lily – you used to laugh – we’re still us. Are we, Aristotle?
Sienna claims that Claire stopped by to check in – isn’t that sweet of her? Claire hopes they get time to talk before Sienna goes back to LA. She’s not going anytime soon, Noah assures. After Claire leaves, Noah asks Sienna if everything’s OK.
Audra lectures Holden for working for the guy responsible for his best friends’ death. What you did is far worse than ‘misdeeds’ and Holden’s not concerned that if she goes down, so will he. He’s found a way around his Audra-problem.
Lily finally agrees – fine, whatever. Yes, Cane does want her to beg him. You’re actually looking forward to tonight now – it’s a date. No, it’s two people arriving at a location at the same time, Lily corrects (but admits it might be fun after all)
Something doesn’t feel right to Noah – what did you and Claire talk about? LA, the Shadow Room, she’s a really nice girl. She’s worked hard to find her place in the family, she’s thoughtful and kind, Sharon points out. Noah isn’t happy to hear that Sienna thinks she should leave GC.
Audra points out that showing Claire a good time doesn’t give Holden Newman protection; she’ll get bored of you (like I did) and want someone with actual power – not just ‘power adjacent’. You don’t want to mess with Claire, or me, Holden warns.
