Matt’s in Dad’s car trunk, unconscious – we think (he could be dead already) Dad, with a broken leg and high on meds, has decided to get rid of him for good. No, Sharon’s not onboard with this – or Nick involving Noah.

At CL’s, Chelsea updates Adam and Vikki that she’s been denying everything to reporters – ironic that we’re now on the receiving end (after going after Jabot so hard) Vikki and Adam appreciate Chelsea -denying everything is the best strategy. Dad’s exhausted; the man’s a giant but even TGVN has his limits, they worry.

So, you care a great deal about my grandson, Victor concludes. Sienna’s in love with Noah, the finest man she’s ever known, but we won’t have a future together; she misses LA but Noah wants to be here, with his family. He almost died because of me and will eventually resent me. Appreciating her candour, ‘call me Victor’ agrees it might be best for Sienna to go back home once this is all over.

Hearing how Noah accidentally found Matt in his Dad’s trunk, Sharon worries Nick’s creating more problems. Noah grumbles about how much grief he got for checking out of the hospital – but it’s OK for his Dad??? Sharon knows the family won’t approve of Nick signing himself out OR his plans for Matt. And, she knows first hand the trauma of ending a life. You are not God, she ends, as Victor and Sienna arrive.

If Cane beats Dad we all lose – NE is sinking and there’s not a damn thing we can do to stop it. Vikki won’t throw in the towel, she’ll destroy Cane and anyone helping him. Losing this company would kill Dad.

Noah’s confused – he thought Sienna was upstairs sleeping. Sienna was kind enough to come to me with the conversation she overheard between you and your father, Victor explains. Hand Matt Clark over to me. You’re in too much pain to fight, he warns Nick that he could get an infection. Father and son stubbornly argue over whose job it is to handle Matt.

Assuring all that he’ll be OK, Nick tells everyone to go upstairs. Come back in 15 minutes and I’ll be gone. Sienna – you should have left this alone. She doesn’t want Nick turned into another version of Matt. Leave him to me, Victor will take care of it.

Vikki’s sorry for snapping at Adam, she knows he and Chelsea have been on the front line. She just worries about her parents and wants to strangle Cane and Phyllis. Plus, it’s affecting the kids too. It’s not about the power, money and prestige – it’s the legacy – our pride. Dealing with Matt Clark is the last thing Dad needs right now.

You will always be my hero, and Noah’s grateful his Dad kept him and Sienna safe. Sharon knows from painful experience that Nick won’t feel vindicated if he kills Matt – you’ll feel hollow. She trusts Victor to ensure it never happens again. If I hand him over to you, what will you do? Nick wavers. It’s better that no one knows, Victor replies.

Nick needs to know, Isn’t it enough to know he’ll be taken care of? Victor says. It’s good enough for everyone, including Sienna. Under normal circumstances, Victor knows Nick would finish Matt off. But, I will take care of him.

Vikki, Adam and Chelsea continue to discuss how Dad always protects them. Remembering Victor taking a bullet recently, it’s hard to imagine a world without Dad in it. We’re smart, resourceful and occasionally devious (Adam can dial it back up for a good cause) What can we do to make Cane and Phyllis show their hands? It’s time we put the screws to them. And break them, Adam adds.
