At home, Sally and Billy are still bickering about Chancellor. If it means that much to you, I won’t stand in your way (though sure looks like she’ll make him regret it)

Committed to Billy running Chancellor, Cane tells Phyllis that Newman Enterprises and its subsidiaries are theirs – we just need to rip the band-aid off and take control. Over my dead body, Vikki appears on the train.

Sharon’s surprised to find Nick waking up on her sofa (in pain) She thought he slept in the guest room. Have you been down here all night? He doesn’t know. Are you OK? she worries.

At Society, Kyle and Diane couldn’t be happier – Jabot’s products will soon be back on shelves and Victor’s own actions are destroying his empire. He must be losing his mind right now, they gloat.

What the hell is this? Get your hands off my wife! Victor comes home to glare at Jack.

Handed a cup of coffee, Nick tells Sharon that he slept on the sofa on the porch. Flashing back to pulling a baggie of pills out of his pocket, he’s twitchy, sweaty and in pain and doesn’t seem to remember agreeing to let Sharon take him back to the hospital.

Someone has to protect Chancellor and yes, it does have to be Billy. He reminds Sally that he put it in writing that if he gets Chancellor, she runs Abbott Communications. Near tears, she’s worried about the path Billy’s on – you make your decision, I’ll make mine.

Let’s not get ahead of ourselves, Kyle’s not sure Newman will fall. Mike says it is, and Diane’s thrilled that karma finally reached Victor.

Vikki spoke with Lily this morning. She’s off limits to you, Cane claims. No, she’s off limits to YOU – Vikki told both her and Mattie that he’s destroying Newman. Lily was horrified; Mattie’s heartbroken. Further, Lily told her to be the one to tell Charlie. He WAS thinking of giving you another chance but now, none of them will speak to you again so congrats – it’s only cost you everything.

No, Jack didn’t come to gloat – he came to support Nikki. She could lose Chancellor thanks to you. She’s not losing a damn thing. Now, get out, Victor orders.

Fine, agreeing to go to Memorial, AFTER he talks to his Dad, Nick hobbles off to wash up.

Sitting in the park, Billy flashes back to business-related happy times with Sally.

Get out, Victor repeats. I’m just a text away, Jack tells Nikki. Have the day you deserve, he tells Victor – then ignores Chelsea and Adam as he exits. What was he doing here? Adam asks. Dancing on our grave, Victor claims. He’s concerned about us, Nikki corrects. Adam and Chelsea update that NM heavily implied that Cane and Phyllis committed computer fraud and Vikki’s filed a complaint with the FTC. We’ll attack Cane from all angles, Victor agrees.

You’re delusional, Phyllis tells Vikki that her entire life has been built on Victor destroying anything that is not Newman – you’re as corrupt as your Dad. She isn’t worried about an FTC investigation – the Newmans had the AI first. Cane points out that he took his loss – you should have taken yours and left well enough alone.

Not intimidated by Cane, Vikki again brings up Lily and the kids. You lost your soul when they rejected you. And YOU (Phyllis) – you never deserved Nick and have no business being a Newman. Phyllis chases her down the hallway to gloat about how lucky she is to be running the Newman empire.

On the patio, Sally flashes back to Billy telling her that they’ll make AC a success while Dumas takes down Victor. So, are we good? It’ll be one helluva ride, Sally had smiled.
