Nick hobbles into the main house for an update. Newman Media is covering suspected computer fraud by Cane and Phyllis. The AI is giving the company away. I told Phyllis. Chelsea spoke to her too – no guilt whatsoever. Summer’s furious. Vikki arrives to say that Phyllis couldn’t care less. All worry about Nick. He won’t hide in bed while their company is under attack.

Jck joins Kyke and Diane at Society. He just went to see Nikki. Yes, it’s true, Newman’s being destroyed – Newman Media and Chancellor won’t be spared either.

Phyllis doesn’t mind that Summer’s furious but Cane’s not happy that Lily and the kids know. Yes, she told them. Why was Jack here? He came because he’s concerned about Chancellor. When Nick quietly asks his Dad what happened with Matt, Victor tells him it’s been taken care of.

Billy flashes back to his argument with Jack. Then with Sally wanting to know whether he’ll accept Cane’s offer.

On the patio, Sally flashes back to Billy saying he really wants to ‘get this right’ – how sexy she finds this new Billy. Pouting, she whispers to herself ‘I love you Billy but I don’t know how much more I can take’.

Nick’s glad his Dad took care of Matt Clark – maybe we need to handle Cane the same way. The thought’s crossed Victor’s mind but he has other things to deal with first.

Biting her tongue regarding Nikki, Diane imagines Victor was pretty upset to find Jack at the house with her. Cane offered Billy control of Chancellor, an offer he can’t refuse, he adds.

Phyllis wants to get going – we have a lot to build upon. In time, Cane slows her down. Billy arrives – is the coup complete? We’re not giving interviews, Phyllis quips. Billy isn’t there as part of the media – this is very much his business.

Cane’s dangling Chancellor in front of Billy (who feels he alone can save it) Jack thinks he wants to ‘bond’ with his brother. Victor’s been focused on Cane, but he’ll go ballistic if Billy’s put in charge of Chancellor. Diane knows Sally won’t like that.

Still on the patio, Sally leaves a message for Audra – I have a lot to lose ~click~

Phyllis doesn’t want to babysit Billy and clean up his mess. He’s not committed. ‘He’ is right here and Billy’s answer is a resounding ‘yes’. Do we have a deal or are you letting her call the shots? he asks Cane.

Nick asks his Mom how she’s doing. Not great – she hates letting Katherine down. You didn’t, Cane did. Dad won’t give up without a fight, the four agree. Aside, Victor leaves a message for Jill – Cane’s crossed the line – call me immediately.
