The Newman trio come home to find Mike and Adam at the ranch. We need all hands on deck. Things didn’t go well at the office, Mike correctly assumes. At the parks’ outdoor cafe, while waiting for Cane to text him, Billy flashes back to Jill confiding that she tricked John into getting her pregnant. I wasn’t there for you much; Jill never made motherhood a priority. There was something missing in me but you turned out pretty damned good (and a good father) Billy makes the call. Hi Mom – yes, it’s really me. Are you going to be OK?
Billy thanks Jill for the medical update. He won’t cause her any stress and will come visit as soon as she gives him the OK. Hanging up, he sniffles and flashes back to Jill telling him that he inherited his hunger from her. OMG, she’d had an idea – my legacy could be your legacy. Yes, Chancellor. Wiping away tears, Billy heads off on a mission.
Victor won’t discuss it. But, Chancellor/Katherine’s legacy is MY responsibility, Nikki points out (Victoria agrees) I’ll crush these bastards – they don’t know what a mistake they made in taking on Victor Newman, says Victor Newman. They’ll pay if it’s the last thing I do.
In bed, Phyllis asleep beside him, Cane gets a text from Lily; We will never forgive you for this.
Dom’s not in his room, Abby tells Devon. Assuming he’s playing Hide and Seek, they run off giggling – ready or not, here we come!
