Phyllis walks off. Nick hobbles after her to warn that she might become wildly successful, but she’ll be completely alone.

Billy might be destined to be alone – but not you, you have Phyllis. That’s not love, but Cane isn’t ‘lost’ – the view from Newman Tower will fill his heart. The view from Chancellor’s not bad either, Billy adds as both sip their coffee. Good thing we love our work.
Phyllis has had enough. Nick agrees – we’re definitely finished. After he and Sharon sit at a table about 15 feet away, Phyllis calls Summer but gets no answer or voicemail. Summer responds with a text – don’t call me again.
Now home, Abby clutches Doms’ mitten. His hand must be freezing. It’s Mariah, Devon’s sure the police will find her. Maybe she snapped and thinks he’s her kid; he reminds how attached she got to him. Abby decides to call her Dad to get his security on it.
Back at CL’s, Tessa wonders to Daniel why Mariah’s putting Devon and Abby through hell – what is she thinking????

My Thoughts: The blonde woman trying to order her breakfast at the club deserves a Daytime Emmy for the daggers she glared at Phyllis while she’s shouting at Nick. ‘I’ll have the French Toast – and what the hell is that commotion at the bar?!’ … How on earth would Dom have seen a police car behind them? He’s not even sitting high enough in the back seat to see things in FRONT of Mariah’s car ….Their young son has been kidnapped and Devon and Abby are at CL’s instead of at the police station. Who knew they’d have more luck getting leads at a coffee shop that the police station? … Granted, I don’t know much about one-of-a-kind, handmade scarves but I do know it’d be easy to order them in bulk on Amazon and sell them as handmade on Etsy. I mean, if you’re having a one-of-a-kind scarf made for your wife, why not have it embroidered with something meaningful, like Mariah’s initials instead of generic hearts? ….So, the estate DOES have security cameras – there just so happens to be a giant ‘blind spot’ that stretches from the front door to the driveway. Or, did Mariah trek across that huge front lawn without leaving footprints in the snow? Perhaps her imaginary friend Ian piggybacked her? Even the no-tell motel has security cameras – likely installed because everyone who rents rooms there is a criminal on the run. IIRC Phyllis killed Jeremy Stark with scissors in that very bathroom; which is likely the last time it was thoroughly cleaned.
