Don’t let her get in your head, Phyllis assures Billy that Victoria won’t go to the feds (because her father will get charged first) Your kids love you. Billy continues to worry.

Oh, Diane – Nikki detaches herself. I was just telling Jack that things have spiralled; Billy’s involved. I take it there’s nothing more you can do, Diane oozes sarcasm. Nikki thanks Jack for his support – great news about Dom, she leaves Diane to glare at her husband.

Jack would love to see Victor lose – but not Nikki. She made him who he is! Diane thinks she deserves to ‘feel the sting’. We should all be thankful she’s at Victor’s side, Jack bleats. Diane mocks Nikki’s ‘performance’ – my dear friend Jack is the only one who understands me – she’s sick of Nikki using Jack to get what she wants (Chancellor)

Remind me never to piss you off, Nate seems amused by Victoria’s fury towards Billy. He leaves when Nikki arrives. This is awful and exhausting, Victoria worries Nate will find out she knew why Lily wasn’t reachable. Is he more than a friend to lean on? Nikki pries.

THAT ‘psychotic’ man is the good parent and Victoria wants ME to stay away from my kids? Billy’s still reeling – what if they turn against me? They’ll turn back, Phyllis knows from experience. Victoria wouldn’t deprive the kids of their ‘great’ Dad. Billy’s not so sure.

Jack disagrees that his friend coming to him for help is ‘manipulation’; Nikki’s worried sick about her family. If we got the AI, would you have given Chancellor back to her? Diane has to ask. When Jack refuses to answer the hypothetical question, she snarls – right, an addict who’d risk his own sobriety for his dear friend, Nikki wouldn’t think twice about giving her a measly company. When is it enough!?!? Diane stomps upstairs.

Nikki’s glad Victoria has Nate to lean on. Victoria would rather spout off about Phyllis and Billy; he’s shameless – standing in my father’s office. Chancellor’s his, Nikki assumes. He’ll live to regret it, Victoria vows – Billy can say goodbye to the kids!

Billy saw bloodlust in Victoria’s eyes. She doesn’t have it in her, Phyllis maintains. She was channelling Victor and meant every word, Billy also believes that Victor will make sure he loses custody – if I lose my kids, what was all this for?

Phyllis and Billy are still at Newman Towers, Victor updates Adam. They conclude that it’s not too late to end this nonsense. We could have Newman back tonight.

My Thoughts: Not sure which Abbott said it, but they’re 100% right – Victor truly IS a sonofabitch to his core. Finding Cane unconscious, he doesn’t make any sincere effort to revive him, or check for a pulse, try sit him up to give him some water. No call to 911 – instead he calls Adam to say ‘WE have a problem’. Because Cane being unconscious couldn’t possibly be Cane’s problem. If Phyllis was half the genius she claims to be, she’d have given Cane a wee, non-lethal bop on the head and set Victor up for it. He has plenty of motive and if questioned his own family would have to confess to the police that he’s abducted his ex-wife and kids … Good thing Nikki came over to update Jack that Abby found Dom and is bringing him home, since his niece couldn’t find the time during the 2.5 hour flight home from New Mexico to give her Uncle the good news …. I wish Diane would learn to express her dislike of Nikki without coming across like a jealous tween who’s just found her boyfriend rounding first base with the head cheerleader. She sounds as ridiculous as Victor when he drags up Jack and Nikki’s ‘night of debauchery’. Diane is a naturally stunning beauty who shouldn’t be insecure of any woman. I LOVE that she doesn’t go overboard in the hair and make up chair trying to disguise that she’s over 60…. Getting even more tired of these billionaires whining about their empires. Why can’t everyone just stay out of each others’ business (literally and figuratively) Victoria’s kids are a bit old for her to forbid them from seeing their Dad. Whatever happened to ‘it’s just business’. If she’s so worried about her kids, why doesn’t she ever mention Reed? Last seen as a floppy-haired teen leaving with his guitar for boarding school.. Oh, and has everyone forgotten that Nikki has MS that flares up when she’s under stress?
