Watching Billy walk in, Phyllis offers to buy breakfast for the whole dining room. He’s mildly surprised to find her with Lauren.
At Society, Audra shows Sally the logo she drew up; and lists other things she’s working on. Sally went to tell Billy that she doesn’t give a damn what he thinks (though he was pretty accepting) What aren’t you telling me? Audra can’t believe she’s going to dinner with Billy.
Sally knows Billy loves her and doesn’t want to end the relationship on bad terms – it’s a civil good bye. Audra continues to disapprove.
Why wouldn’t I want to have a hand in taking Victor down, Billy asks. Lauren’s no fan of Victor. You’re not trying to convince Phyllis that she made a mistake? he warns Phyllis not to get talked out of what she fought for.
Nick says that any pull Cane had with Phyllis is gone. He then gets a text from Matt – offer’s still good; 5 million to get rid of me for good. Is that Matt!? Sharon yelps.
Still at Society, Sally trusts Audra’s opinion in business and ‘matters of the heart’. Audra’s done passing judgement (then continues to do so anyway)
No one wants to hear my side, Phyllis whines. Lauren does. This is my one and only chance to change my life – do some good in the world. I’m the villain and the Newmans are the victims – they always come out on top. I won! Yet, I’m the town pariah? Really? Phyllis is ready to go solo. If there’s anything I can do to help you…. There is – come work for me.
‘5 million is the price for me to leave your son alone’. Sharon and Victoria are outraged. Matt won’t stop there. We have to lure him out and deal with him ourselves, Nick knows.
Sally vows that she’s moving forward – you make it sound like I have no control around Billy. You know he’s trouble and good at convincing you he’s worth that trouble, Audra leaves Sally to think.
Lauren’s touched by the offer but is content where she is. Content or complacent? Don’t let Mike talk you out of it, Phyllis thinks they could take over the world.
Sharon and I can handle this, Nick assures Victoria. He has an idea to lure Matt out – he won’t be able to resist.
