Sally, Billy, Kyle and Diane (literally wringing her hands) file into Billy’s to discuss what they know. Jack sent Diane a text late last night saying he had an emergency meeting in Chicago. Kyle talked to the staff – no one’s heard from him. Victor has Jack, they all agree. We won’t see him again unless I give Chancellor back, Billy concludes.

Sonofabitch! Jack shouts through the locked door – whoever the hell you are, tell me what the hell this is about!

Audra returns to Society to find Holden moping over his Vesper. Letting her taunts roll off his back, he offers to buy her a drink.

In her office, Phyllis is on the phone with her assistant. The head of marketing isn’t picking up (one of many it seems) Whoever doesn’t take my calls will be fired ~click~ When Daniel arrives, she wonders if he’s there to work things out; it would be cruel of you to cut me off again.

Talk to me! Jack shouts. Unable to find his phone, banging on the cabin door only results in a sore hand.

Looking confused, Jack tries to figure out where he is – that’s not the Atlantic ocean – Lake Michigan maybe? If his phone’s off, Diane can’t track him – does she even know I’m missing? Who are you working for?! he shouts (though assumes it’s Victor)

Are you here to say ‘sorry’? Phyllis asks. No, she didn’t know that Cane asked Daniel to forgive her. He said your life is sad and empty without us – and that if we took you back, you might give Newman back. I miss you guys, Phyllis wonders if Cane’s words made any difference.

Too busy for day drinking, Audra asks if Holden’s accomplished anything since she saw you earlier. Holden was ‘shot down’ for a job – again. He isn’t being ‘chummy’ to get a job, he wants to ‘team up’ to end Claire and Kyle’s relationship – for good.

Victor might be playing us, Kyle isn’t convinced he’d go as far as to stick Jack somewhere with Lily and the twins. It wouldn’t be the first time, Billy thinks they need to talk to Nikki – she won’t be OK with this. No! Forget about her – Jack saving Nikki’s life is the reason Victor hates him – Diane wants Billy to give Chancellor back.

Daniel finds it ‘funny’ that his Mom is hitting all of Cane’s talking points. If we’re playing ‘happy family’ again, are you willing to give up all of this? Are Summer and I worth it to you??

The woman who tried to choke me to death is finally leaving me alone – are you so desperate to get Claire back that you’d risk both our futures? Audra adds that being obsessive isn’t attractive. Holden believes she wants Kyle back and can make it happen.
