Washing back a pain pill, then another, Nick reluctantly answers Sharon’s call. He tells her and Chelsea that Adam’s doing a good job with Risa – if she knows anything about Matt, he’ll get it out of her.
Meanwhile, Adam’s trying to pull information from Risa – with his lips.
Though Lily wants to enjoy her drink in peace, Phyllis blathers on about her betraying Cane. She toasts to Queen Lily; Queen of broken hearts.
Hearing that Nick hasn’t met Risa worries Chelsea. He correctly guesses she fears Adam will come home as Spyder.
Risa’s never worked with a poker player as good as Spyder. Pressured to introduce him to her partner, she thinks the two of them will hit it off.
Phyllis continues to lambaste Lily (who makes a catty comment about Cane being attracted to her ‘fading allure’) Oh – you’re jealous because we have chemistry, Phyllis is in the big chair now and killing it.
Nick apologizes to Chelsea and reassures that Adam won’t become Spyder again; he’s seen the light. Are you OK? Sharon and Cheslea note that his voice seems different – then . Getting defensive, he’s just ready to find Matt and come home. Don’t let Noah come to Vegas. He tells Chelsea that it’ll be over soon – then falls asleep while still on speakerphone.
Adam just assumed Risa’s partner is male. Why are you so curious? Risa wonders if he’s jealous? Yes, she’d like him to stick around IF Adam’s on the level (she suspects he’s not)
Yes, I’m still here, Nick wakes up to lie that he has to take this call from Adam. I’ll call you back, he manages to say ‘bye’ before dropping his phone. Chelsea and Sharon look worried.
Risa’s still salty about Adam ‘cutt and run’ years ago. He wants to make money and have some fun. We can all walk away with a small fortune. That kiss convinced him she’s all in; your partner will be too.
Phyllis wonders what Victor promised Lily for going along with his plan. You can fish all you want, Lily won’t bite. You really think Victor’s not going to come after you (and his companies)? Phyllis isn’t afraid of him. Maybe you should be, Lily warns.
Nick chugs back a can of pop and falls asleep on the sofa.
Victoria arrives at CL’s to update that Summer wrote her Mom a strongly worded letter. Phyllis did seem down when Sharon saw her – she’s conflicted but stubborn. Victoria changes the subject by asking for an update on Nick/Adam – tell them that Dad and I have the situation in hand.
