Adam flashes back to kissing Risa, then walks into the suite to tell Nick that he won at poker. You look wiped out – did you hit the mini bar? No, Nick went to the gym. Rejecting coffee, he goes to the bathroom to splash water on his face (with his baggie of powder)
Lily laughs at the name Summers Conglomerate. When Victoria arrives to chat with her, Phyllis has her confirmation that the kidnapping was a ruse.
Sharon reassures Chelsea and downplays Nick sounding odd. He’s just frustrated and tired.
As Lily smirks into her drink, Victoria tells Phyllis that she’s lost her children. No, they won’t come around and it’s all for nothing (my father never loses) The only way you can escape this mess is to give it all back.
The cold water did the trick, Adam marvels at Nick’s quick recovery. Just tell me what happened, Nick asks if he made a deal with Risa. She needs to run it by her partner (who they both think is Matt)
Matt returns to the hotel suite to ask how poker night went. He was even better than before, Risa gushes.
Victoria’s right – take the high road for once; don’t make the same mistake Cane made, Lily tells Phyllis it’s not worth it if she can’t share it with those she loves.
Sharon can see that Chelsea worries about Adam revisiting his past. He loves you and Connor so much he’d never go back to the darkness. Chelsea doesn’t worry about Risa – but who Adam was when he was with her.
Yes, Risa wants me to meet her partner but hold on, Adam wants to take it one step at a time. I’m ready for this! a hopped-up Nick paces like a caged lion (which worries Adam)
Matt wants to meet this guy. Set up a private meeting – it’s time we all put our cards on the table, he tells Risa.
My Thoughts: If Lily really wanted to avoid Phyllis, she could have easily gone down to the jazz lounge – or home. Phyllis doesn’t have room to judge Lily for faking her own kidnapping (since she faked her own death) or for ‘betraying’ Cane (which she just did herself) Too bad Lily didn’t remind Phyllis that she slept with Cane yet he still wanted HER … Maybe Phyllis should wait to see Newman’s quarterly revenue before deciding that she’s ‘killing it’. Having spent so little time running Newman (she’s been at the club and Society for the most part) she can’t possibly know anything about how the company runs … So – Spyder didn’t count out his poker chips and convert them into money?
