Unmoved when the ‘feisty’ Chelsea reminds him that Adam and Nick both have young kids, Matt won’t take her to them. I’m like a Vegas magician; watch, I’m gonna make myself disappear, he leaves.
Matt must have given me something strong, Nick doesn’t know how much. Once it’s out of my system I’ll be good. So, you only had drugs in this room? Adam doesn’t challenge Nick’s lie. Finding a phone on the wall, he calls Chelsea. Nick’s fine – we’re in a storage closet – look out for Matt, he instructs. He was here to taunt me, Chelsea adds that he ‘disappeared like a Vegas magician’. That means it’s not over, Adam concludes.
While Adam’s giving Chelsea directions to the storage closet, Nick’s enticed by a colourful assortment of pills.
Briefly exchanging un-pleasantries with Victor, Jack spots Diane and rushes over to the bar. ‘I don’t want to talk to you’, she snaps. ‘Well said, Diane’, Victor praises her. Actually, she does have something to say – to Victor.
Informed that his Dad’s missing and that Matt might have him, Noah’s pissed that he was talked out of going to Vegas. I need to go – NOW, he tells Sharon.
Hearing Chelsea, Adam’s shouting to her through the door while Nick stuffs the drugs in his pocket.
Back in the suite, Chelsea assures Adam that Matt didn’t hurt her and fusses over Nick (who was drugged by Matt) When he goes to splash some water on his face, Adam shares his suspicions with Chelsea. In the bathroom, Nick has an assortment of drugs and paraphernalia, including a small baggie of white powder.
Mike puts some music on. Every romantic interlude must include a dance. Just one, Lauren agrees.
Diane tells Victor that he was right – you were a better judge of my husband’s character than I was. You can’t mean that, Jack’s astonished then snarls at Victor. You WILL pay for this – if it’s the last thing I do.
Now energized, Nick doesn’t need to go to a doctor – I’m good as new, he chugs a bottle of water. He’d check in with Sharon but Matt took both his and Adam’s phone.
In the elevator, Matt sends Sharon a text. ‘I have Matt. It’s over. Come to Vegas if you want to see him go down’.
Let’s be reckless, Mike starts peeling Lauren’s clothes off.
Your threats are empty, the only thing you’re capable of destroying is your marriage, Victor leaves Jack to ask Diane ‘how could you take his word over mine’? Oh? You feel betrayed? That’s how I felt, Diane heads upstairs with her takeout. Consoled by Nikki, Jack’s ‘on the verge of desperate times’ – something has to give – SOON.
Nick tells Chelsea to hold off on calling Sharon. If she and Noah find out what’s happened, they’ll fly out here. We have to find Matt before he makes his way back to GC! he stresses to her and Adam.
An excited Sharon reads the text she believes to be from Nick to Noah. We’re on our way, she replies.
Reading the reply, Matt grins – can’t wait to see you, Sharon.
Next Week: Stephanie asks Nate how he knows Olivia. She’s my Mother. Nate Hastings! Oh my goodness, she’s thrilled…. Chris has a little surprise for Danny – actually it’s a big surprise…. Lauren asks what’s wrong. Mike has no easy way to say this – Summers Conglomerate is going down… Parked at what appears to be an old gas station right off the highway, this isn’t what Noah expected – this place looks like it’s been abandoned for years. Should we go in? Sharon wonders.
