Inside the decrepit garage, Matt claims the Newmans have harmed him for the last time. You are NEVER going to stop me. You’ll know my plans for you soon enough.
Phyllis shows Lauren the fake emails the Newmans gave her – the walls are closing in. The DA will believe it – it’s the Bug. Phyllis must do something fast or lose it all.
Phyllis tells Lauren that they must fight to keep things as they are.
Nick orders Risa to make Matt believe her – tell him that the trap didn’t work and we think he’s going to GC. Adam knows she can do this. You’re gonna need this, Risa gives Adam a gun (which worries Chelsea)
Risa calls Matt – They didn’t take the bait – Adam and his brother are headed to GC, I tried but they weren’t buying it. Matt accuses her of having the feels for Spyder. The call ended, he’s disappointed – now it’s just the three of us.
Back at the ranch, Victoria is now convinced they’re going to get NE back. Your skills never cease to amaze me, she gushes. Victor’s proud of the way his daughter handled Phyllis.
Mike’s at the office to remind Phyllis that she DID use the AI program to steal NE. The division heads will testify against you – so will Cane and Billy if subpoenaed, he’s sure.
You still don’t trust me – even though I just sold out my partner, Risa pouts. ‘Spyder’ doesn’t exist! Chelsea doesn’t mind talking about her past – I’ll tell you my first con if you tell me how you met Adam.
You’re a bag of nerves, Adam tells Nick that he’s all over the road. How bad off are you? No, you’re NOT fine. I saw the pills in the storage room. Be honest – you’ve been a mess since we got to Vegas, haven’t you? Adam confronts his brother.
Leave Noah out of this, Sharon pleads (as they’re tied up) No – he slept with my wife. I thought we were friends. Why should I forgive you? Matt asks. You shouldn’t, Noah admits You’re right – I was wrong.
While Victoria hopes Phyllis takes their deal (for Summer and Daniel’s sake) Victor would rather see Phyllis go to prison.
Back at the office, Mike advises Phyllis to give Victor what he wants (or you could end up behind bars) Lauren’s so sorry. No way in hell is Phyllis giving up!
Chelsea’s first con was making $300 bucks on girl guide cookies when she was eight. Risa tells Chelsea that the sexual chemistry was off the charts when she met Spyder in a bar. Later, she learned he had other talents – we were an unstoppable team. That’s exciting but a long time ago, Chelsea makes it clear ‘whatever you had with him is in the distant past’ (I’m his present and future)
Adam lectures Nick – this addiction is dangerous. Matt has eyes everywhere. Yeah, including on us.
There’s nothing you can do to get out of this – but Matt is touched by the way they look after each other – until one of you dies and there’s not a damn thing you can do. That IS what’s going to happen.
Next Week: Adam’s in the drivers seat – It’s obvious you need it – go ahead – do what you have to do, he tells Nick (who’s in need of a fix)…. Matt watches on camera as Nick’s in the fetal position, Adam over top of him trying to help. Sharon and Noah’s restraints leave them just out of reach. Matt watches – Little Newman finally hit on a bad batch – what a shame…. In the suite, Chelsea hugs Adam – thank God you’re OK! Where’s Nick???????
