Katherine trusted Cane with Chancellor (more than once) Lily believes he deserves another chance (eluding to how many chances Nikki’s given Victor) Have you fallen back in love with Cane? Nikki asks – or did you never stop loving him?

Those clothes suit you, Laurence compliments Diane and notes that she’s in a better mood. Sorry that she’s been stubborn and difficult, Diane would love some fresh air. There’s just one thing that concerns her …

Updated that Patty’s taken over the house, Sally wonders if Jack can handle what he’s gotten himself into. Can he really convince Patty that he’s fallen for her?

Since Jack’s decided to give Patty this chance, Kyle and Traci will sit back and wait for this ‘sham of a relationship’ to implode. Good luck you two, Patty can’t get rid of them quick enough. As soon as the door closes, she cackles ‘it’s so good to be home’ and flops onto the couch. Jack struggles to maintain the charade.

We’ll never see eye to eye on this, Nikki concedes as she downplays a sudden headache. Traci arrives (with her luggage) to explain that Patty’s infiltrated Jack’s life – Diane’s missing; he believes the only way to get her home safely is to comply with Patty’s demands. Is she at the house now? Nikki’s going over there.

Relax, we’re alone and can do whatever we want, Patty moves in for a kiss. Jack wishes she’d been more tactful – it wasn’t easy for him to ask his family to move out. Forget about them, Patty wants Jack to be naughty with her. He wants to speak to Diane’s doctor.

Diane’s ready to accept that something happened to her. She’s beginning to trust Laurence and doesn’t want to be moved to a clinic. She wants to stay here – just you and me.

Arriving at CL’s to find Devon and Cane arguing, Lily believes that he’s changed and so do the kids. Devon’s sure that Katherine wouldn’t trust the man Cane is today – he’s a con, just like his Dad. After Devon leaves, Lily leads Cane off but won’t say where she’s taking him.

‘You missed a bag’, Patty calls down to Jack. Nikki arrives to ask him what the hell he’s thinking.

Sally and Billy debate the merits of Jack’s plan. At best he’s living with an unstable woman – at worst, a complete psychopath. Billy knows Jack will do anything to bring Diane home safely but it’s anyone’s guess who comes out on top here.

It’s a bit unorthodox – this is my home, Laurence hedges. Diane’s scared of hospitals to the point that she has panic attacks. Please, let me stay, she pleads.
