Nikki has no desire to talk to Victor – she’s dealing with enough as is and aims for a peaceful coexistence. That said, she feels safe when he’s nearby. Yet again, Victoria thinks it would be wonderful if her parents reconciled.
Nick assumed he’d be running the company with Victoria (as equals) Victor wants him to finish his recovery first. Nick objects – he needs to be engaged. Sidelining me would be the worst thing you can do. Victor doesn’t want Nick to be stressed (and start using again) Give it a few months. A few months?!
She nearly bit my cheek! the guard whines. What did you inject my mother with?! Kyle comes out demanding answers. When Jack calls out to see Patty, they all file back his room. This is over – you’re NOT bringing Diane down! Jack warns. Maybe I already have, Patty smiles smugly.
Have you done something to Diane?! Jack’s livid. Til we meet again – and we will, Patty sneers as the cops lead her out. Where’s your mother!? Jack barks. Ashley’s arrival interrupts – she’s so glad he’s OK.
Nick and Adam are fuming when Victoria joins them at the club. She’s pleasantly surprised to hear that she’ll be running NE alone. The job will be there when you’ve recovered, she assures Nick. Adam’s pissed too – since you (Victor) gave Newman Media away, where do I fit in????
Billy calls his Mom to say that he’ll come to London in a few days – then gets a call from Traci. Jack’s awake and Ashley’s back, she reports.
Ashley wants to hear how ‘that maniac’ almost killed Jack again. When Kyle and Traci follow a doctor into the hall, Jack knows something’s going on with Diane (that they aren’t telling him)
In the hallway, the doctor tells Kyle and Traci that Diane was injected with Digitalis – they’ve given her a drug to counteract it and she can go home soon. Kyle and Traci return to Jack’s room to tell him that Patty almost killed Diane too.
