Warning Jack not to pity her, Nikki tells him about the headaches and blurred vision – and the surgery to remove the mass. Victor arranged for a surgeon from NY to do the surgery but we’re still furious with each other.
Continuing to be vulnerable with Kyle, Victoria knows her Mom won’t let anyone dictate who she can be friends with. She’s lucky to have Jack; my Dad’s making a mistake pushing her away. Does that mean you’re ready to admit that what Victor did to my Dad is wrong? Kyle wonders.
Nikki tells Jack that Victor insisted she recuperate at the ranch. Sure she’ll be able to see soon, Jack’s sorry to have brought Victor up. He set all this in motion by bringing Patty to town, Nikki’s not sure she can forgive him. Diane and I are fine – Victor didn’t win. But does he know what he’s lost? Nikki asks.

Are you alright? Diane asks when noticing Nikki’s bandages. Nikki’s glad she and Jack are OK and Patty’s where she belongs. You two are so lucky to have each other, she tells Diane on her way out. Taking a seat beside Jack, Diane lists all they have to look forward to. She doesn’t want to live in fear. Kyle says he’ll make sure she gets her wish.
