Phyllis joins Matt upstairs with a toolkit she ‘borrowed’ from maintenance. Together, they manage to snip it off. You’re free as a bird. Matt will go pack up and leave the monitor in his room. Phyllis sends him off with a kiss.

At the bottom of the stairs, Cane asks Matt why Victor asked him to suck up to him. I’m not lying to you, Matt insists – he’s lying to Victor.
