Chelsea refuses to be part of another of Victor’s hatchet jobs on Billy. He doesn’t even know, Adam explains that an old agreement gives control of Chancellor to the Abbotts. We need to beat Spectra Charles to the story.

With a welcome home hug, Audra leaves Sally to order Billy to stop dodging her questions. What’s this big news?

Traci returns to the booth to announce that she hit on the bartender. Nina met someone in grief recovery – he’s kinda great. Laughing at a photo on the wall of Danny sporting a mullet, the three friends drink to old and new friends.

Sally probably doesn’t have the story yet, Adam suspects Billy’s worried how she’ll react to him going after Chancellor again. Chelsea wonders how the Abbotts, Cane and Lily are handling it – this is gonna get messy. Yeah, isn’t it great? Adam grins.

Back at Society, Devon sarcastically tells Cane ‘good job, bringing Billy onboard’. He knows Kay and John were close – with both gone it’s hard to say what happened. Devon’s sure Katherine would honour the agreement – and that’s what Lily should do. Let Billy win? she’s appalled.

Still at the Shadow Room, Nina wonders if Traci’s ready for more than just a one night stand. Are you ready for your next chapter? Martin did a real number on Traci – she saw him recently – it was terrifying; he’s a sick, weak man. It wasn’t my fault, she knows – she’s open; I deserve love.

Chelsea reminds Adam that this is about reporting a story, not twisting the knife. What a triumph if Billy can pull it off – but he’ll crash and burn again. In the meantime, we’ll embarrass Spectra Charles if we publish the story first. Adam wants Chelsea to go get it directly from the source.

Billy tells Sally about the loan that wasn’t paid back. There was one person who knew, my Mother. It was all part of her scam – it ends now – I’m taking over Chancellor. There’s nothing she or anyone can do about it.

Devon wouldn’t fight for the company – why would I? He can’t speak for Katherine. You asked for my opinion – I gave it – you don’t like it. Yes, he’s telling Lily to give Billy the keys and walk away. You don’t need Chancellor – I put you in control of Winters, OUR family company.

Can you believe we got our drinks served to us by Danny Romalotti? Traci, Nina and Chris giggle. He seems perfectly happy running the bar. We’ve weathered some storms, the three hold hands – we’re still here.

Adam wants Chelsea to talk to Billy casually – he won’t be able to help himself – he’ll spill everything. Adam promises – no negative spin. If you betray me, there’ll be hell to pay, Chelsea warns.

Lily would never neglect Winters. Not intentionally, Devon agrees. You want Cane to fail, Lily accuses her brother.

Yes, Billy’s sure. His lawyers say the agreement is legally binding. Cane and Lily are out – I’m in, he proudly tells Lily.
