Lily gets a call from Billy. It’s time we get our attorneys together – let’s not waste time on a lawsuit. He wants a clean, simple transfer of ownership – it doesn’t have to be ugly. Lily doesn’t think lawyers are needed yet – meet me one on one.
Finding Lily putting a golf ball into a glass reminds Billy of the good ole days. We were a team. No, she’s not suggesting they share Chancellor. Billy’s ready to hear Lily’s last pitch.
My father’s devoted to Nick and his recovery, regardless of his ‘other actions’, Victoria assures. How easy it is to ignore Victor’s ‘other actions’. After Jack and Diane leave to start their vacation, Victoria comments how in love they are.

Officially on vacation, Jack and Diane’s first destination is the park cafe. What are Victoria and Kyle cooking up? they wonder.
Back at Jabot, Victoria remembers Kyle’s sunscreen ‘wardrobe malfunction’ years ago. “You in your birthday suit”. Was it really a wardrobe malfunction though? Kyle knows it was an effective campaign if Victoria still remembers it. Pouring drinks, he toasts – to an important moment in Abbott Newman relations.
If Nick won’t help her, Marie will go find the drugs herself. Why do you want to get high? My husband’s divorcing me! Nick gently but firmly tells Marie that he won’t help her find drugs.
As Billy hits the golf ball into the glass, Lily tells him about the offer she made to Jack. So, you know Chancellor belongs to us, Billy concludes – I run it – you run Winters. We both get on with our lives.
Scoring won’t make things better, Nick won’t help Marie find drugs or watch her get high – because he might use too – and he needs to get home to his kids and his life. I have no life to get back to, Marie cries in Nick’s arms.
Back at the cafe, Jack has faith in Kyle. Diane does too – but Victoria is her father’s daughter – I don’t trust her, at ALL.
‘To driving Victor crazy’, Kyle raises his glass. Victoria repeats his earlier words – ‘you ain’t seen nothing yet’. Her eyes glisten with excitement when Kyle announces ‘this is going to be fun’.
Lily cares about Chancellor and can drag this out. But, if Billy can convince her that he’s the best person to run the company, she’ll walk away. It won’t be an easy sell, she warns.

RIP Dolly Parton. There will never be another quite like you. I encourage all of you reading this to perform a random act of kindness tomorrow in memory of Dolly. Better yet, do it for a stranger.
